Yes there is always a large number of players being promoted/demoted. But it's the same way that if a website has a lot of traffic typically, if you suddenly ramp up the amount of traffic on the website, if the servers cannot handle the huge spike in traffic, the website suddenly goes down. My question is basically addressing the same concept for the Battle.net servers. If their servers are not ready to handle such a sudden spike of changes, is it possible that even after they fix the bug, will Battle.net possibly crash due to this fix? | ||

http://sc2ranks.com/gm/ few cases: 1) RU-region grandmaster league only consist of like 100 ppl at this moment. It is because old grandmaster players get demoted cause of inactivity(that ladder specific case) but no new promotions. 2) EU competition to get in to grandmasters is huuuge, yet its not filled, while there are top masters that clearly should be grandmasters already. so yea, something wrong going on thats for sure | ||
