wheat acted like a child To be honest, this is reddit people. Not surprising at all.
in all fairness, i think it's also partly because people expect that kind of behavior from Destiny, but not so much from Wheat.

That's because they don't know wheat, what he has done for esport and that he is/was called "the loudest voice in esport".

Have people never watched Wheat's shows before? He has freakouts on stuff like that semi-regularly, but they're always justified and hilarious. I'm glad that he jumped on it, Destiny was acting like an asshat and he deserved much worse than some pro's disagreeing with him in a debate on a podcast for his behavior.

I'm surprised the amount of people expressing their loss of respect for Wheat (and sometimes Idra/Incontrol), and very little for Destiny. Surely those people didn't think Destiny was in the right here. Or perhaps, and hopefully, they just had no respect for him to lose to begin with.
But yeah, Wheat flips out pretty regularly, I usually don't think they're justified, but that seems to be how he is. And I have absolutely no problem with it.

oh i'm not saying i dislike Wheat for what he did there, just saying there's a different level of respect the community has for Wheat than they do for Destiny, and rightfully so.

that episode should be renamed "Destiny's last grasp at being relevant : Stirring the shit pot"

Sure the crew was disagreeing with Destiny but Wheat flipping out was not about that. That was his reaction to Destiny rage quitting the conversation instead of trying to argue his points. But I can understand Destiny's reaction as well. Overall it was a pretty unnecessarily heated discussion.

If Wheat jumping up and down screaming at the top of his lungs like a child isn't a reason the lose respect for someone in your eyes, ok fine.
I don't watch a lot of destiny, nor do I wheat for the most part. I used to watch stog back when I was still interested in sc2. Just as a casual nerd suffering from the exact things that destiny outlined I find it hard to take sides in regards to destiny's maturity level as a "pro" streamer vs wheat being an actual representative to the esports scene.
Sit painuser and destiny down and you'll have a constructive conversation. Add in wheat and the EG guys acting like frat boys egging each other on and it devolves into garbage.

Yeah I'm sure you really lost a lot of respect for him considering that 1) you don't watch Wheat and 2) you're not interested in SC2. Thanks for all but admitting that you're only here for the drama lol.

Im really surprised that people cant let what happened go, it was a silly argument that blew way out of proportion. Everyone is at fault in some way, and us as spectators cannot justifiably argue whether their actions were right or not.
Moving on, new iTG plz. would love an MLG recap!

Has anyone heard from Wheat since he had to leave MLG for a family emergency? I haven't seen anything about what happened...hope everything's okay.

djWHEAT @djWHEAT
My wife felt good enough today that she smiled at me... And that's when I knew everything would be OK.

Hahaha I love this.
Edit: I am glad to hear that Wheat's wife is doing better. Hopefully she'll be better soon so Wheat can start supplying my ITG fix again :D

I don't care a single bit if destiny is wrong or not. Wheat and the EG tagteam didn't want to discuss anything, they wanted to bash him in person. Fine, there are thousands of people that love to bash destiny, nobody cares. I don't even care about the content of the argument as much as Wheat screaming at the top of his lungs like an idiot.
These people are talking about "doing the best they can" to help the community grow, well just read comments on any place you can find the video, and so many people are turned off by what Wheat did, maybe not turned off to SC2, but you can't deny that it puts a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths for stuff like that to happen.
