I don't watch a lot of destiny, nor do I wheat for the most part. I used to watch stog back when I was still interested in sc2. Just as a casual nerd suffering from the exact things that destiny outlined I find it hard to take sides in regards to destiny's maturity level as a "pro" streamer vs wheat being an actual representative to the esports scene.
Sit painuser and destiny down and you'll have a constructive conversation. Add in wheat and the EG guys acting like frat boys egging each other on and it devolves into garbage. if one person steamrolling another is constructive. someone needs to call destiny out on his shit, and painuser doesnt seem like he is the person who can do it. I don't care a single bit if destiny is wrong or not. Wheat and the EG tagteam didn't want to discuss anything, they wanted to bash him in person. Fine, there are thousands of people that love to bash destiny, nobody cares. I don't even care about the content of the argument as much as Wheat screaming at the top of his lungs like an idiot. These people are talking about "doing the best they can" to help the community grow, well just read comments on any place you can find the video, and so many people are turned off by what Wheat did, maybe not turned off to SC2, but you can't deny that it puts a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths for stuff like that to happen. You are either a blind Destiny fan or you maybe refer to a different episode or something. Yes, Geoff did a little of trash talk before Destiny came on, but nothing really much. And when destiny came on they wanted to discuss the issue, but how can you discuss something with a broken record who kept repeating himself non stop. It got completely pointless especially because they kind of agreed to most of the things, which Destiny didn't acknowledge.
Can we forget all this now? I mean, Destiny is gone from sc2, he placed his hysteria to get as many sc2 fans to go with him to his new game, i think we can forget him now and go on with our sc2-live.

Yea, he said something along the lines of "wait until the koreans leave for LoL because it's huge over there, then EG can win some games, I love you guys peace out".
Destiny didn't scream like someone with Tourette's at any point, Wheat did. That's my point.

Wheat punked Destiny out. It was funny. That's what Destiny gets. djWHEAT is my hero!!!

That's actually all destiny did. Not to mention the petty mockery he started every sentence with. You know when he repeats what someone just said, but says it in a way that , to me, just sounds like destiny doing a destiny impersonation. You should actually try listening to the podcast with your fanboy visor off and listen to the conversation objectively.

when I don't have a tourney to practice for I am closer to 6 hours. I do 4-5 hours a night with EGMCSL and I watch streams/vods while I eat my 2-3 meals a day. Right now I have 0 tourneys to compete for until at least January. That said I streamed for 5 hours and will play for another 1-3 tonight. It's just what I do.
I always see people posting that I don't even play or practice.. always find that a bit odd. This game is harder than "just play and you are one of the best." It requires luck, skill, talent, time and there are other factors like mental state, meta game and map circulation.

Seriously man, there are people who will hate you no matter what you do at this point, fuck them. You have plenty of fans, your stream today was great, just keep doing what you do and don't waste your time trying to win over the dickheads.

Very much this. While I love to read posts from people I cheer for, it hurts my soul to see community figures respond to people who are clearly crazy. Keep doing what you are doing <3.

I wonder what you mean by luck? While tournaments deifnitely requires luck to win, do you really think luck is a factor regarding a players abilities?
Do you consider your self unlucky, or what do you think is a proper explanation for you not performing better?

Then you try to turn that word in any way shape or form against Geoff. I can give you an explanation that there is a luck factor in the game, but why should i, you already know that.

What do you think he means by "luck"? Being lucky in terms of what opponent you draw, what builds they choose, etc.
He's already talked about his performance and why it hasn't come together for him sometimes, it's kind of stupid to expect some other nugget of information to come out about it being attributed to being unlucky.
edit: Also I love weird passive-aggressive tone.

I think he's asking an honest question with the luck thing. My response: iNcontroL plays Protoss, which involves PvP. What component of the game is more lucky than the BO wins and losses that go on there?
Sad to see there's no show this week. Thoughts and prayers go out to Wheat and his family.

HINDER STRIKES. He lies in wait for Geoff to post and then like a creepy stalker, he leaps from the shadows to focus down on word in an answer in the hope of irritating Geoff. Look at that post history folks. He is a creeper of the highest order.
And Hinder, I have to say is a clever little web of words put together there, bringing that one word and spinning it around to then question Geoff's performance. You are true master of the hard of taking any statement he makes and turning a passive aggressive insult. That hours of practice you have put in really show through. Luck has nothing to do with it. Only a creepy, stalker like obsession.

Technical change on behalf of Twitch so there's no automatic mechanism for it. And it soon became a community effort, so there's not that much point in it. All the MP3's can be found here:

Wheat: I'm sorry for all the bullshit coming up against you, but you sort of had the right to be pissed off. You know Esports better than anyone else without a doubt. You've been here longest. That being said, you should've been a little bit more collected
iNControl and IdrA, I do not understand why everyone is mad at you. Other than one or two personal jabs, you were respectful and asked for respect in return.
Painuser: Assert yourself man!
Destiny: You are a cancer to the scene, and you do nothing but create unnecessary drama. Your appearance on the show presented to the scene how flawed you are as a person, and how we, as a community, should not stand behind you. You were rude, did not answer the questions asked of you, and left the show early. That's pathetic.
