After watching the vod from lastnight all I can say is wow... I have lost every bit of respect for DJWheat. The first thing that pissed me off was when Wheat claimed Destiny was being a "nostalgia fag." What Wheat ceases to understand is that for SC2 to be revitalized we have to look back at what made Brood War so successful.. Wheat likely logged less than 100 hours on Brood War, so he should keep his opinions about that to himself. Secondly saying that Destiny "copped out" really shocked me. I honestly didn't expect Wheat to act like that.. Before Destiny left he was being verbally attacked by Idra, and Incontrol was making his usual snide remarks. On top of that Wheat was riding the coat tails and essentially repeating everything Idra and Incontrol were saying. The times he did speak for himself he made statements and asked questions that were either wrong or didn't get the response he expected. Last night's episode showed me who Wheat really is..
I hate Destiny as much as the next, but he has a great point in the argument. We've been waiting since release for many features to be implemented. A lot of the features will accommodate the casual gamer. The growth of casual play will grow the entire SC2 community. Some of those casuals may turn into die hard fans, thus being a good result for all. So I don't understand why Idra and Incontrol were bashing Destiny so much. Their comments really pushed me across the fence about Incontrol (already hated Idra too, lol). For some reason the both of them blamed Destiny for standing up for Blizzard when he was clearly talking about how they(Blizzard) wasn't doing their job. Sounded like a ploy by the 2 to make Destiny look bad. Just seemed like a pissing contest..
Woulda been nice if the group could have had a conversation without anyone trying to belittle the other. It's really quite sad in my opinion.
I do have to give the Ultimate Super Mannered Badass Award to PainUser. My goodness that man really knows how one should act during a debate. This man showed superior ability to hold his tongue, and not dump on someone because they have a different opinion. Thank you PainUser! I hope people see your manner and learn from it.

The thing is they were saying destiny was wrong with nothing on how they would fix things because they can't without blizzard. You can't have a balanced game without blizzard patching/messing/fixing the balance. I think wheat/inc/idra were saying that blizzard arn't going to do anything, and just have the game stay like this idk. Also destiny ragequit because idra/incontrol were..hate to say it, but circlejerking each other off with the "go back to LoL comment" that idra said. That combined with the other shit i can easily see why he left the way he did.

That indeed is a lie but please consider if the player was Not Destiny and was some other player or casual player who wanted to be heard from the higher ups aka the pro players. What can we do to amplify sc2 community? IMO i believe if we wanted to bring back the casual gamers. Blizzard would need to completely revamp their custom map rules.
Expand the map, make some maps Pay to Play like rumors before WOTL beta came out. Have Cat and Mous back, have the casual come back. Have better games into SC2 and make SC2 the community that is sooo divided now.

I think this is the inevitable result of 3 drama queens put in one room. I have a lot of respect for them all but Wheat likes to take too much personally, Incontrol likes to throw haymakers and analyse the results and Destiny just has a few screws loose.

I feel like Wheats rage is mostly because he has been around for so long and heard from every scene "Game X is going to die" only to see those games go one for YEARS afterwards and still be successful.
The show could have been great but then they brought on Destiny and it went downhill really fast.
