I find the concept interesting but then at what point are we completely reworking the game?

Lets say 6 minerals works out fine and then we try harvesting 3 minerals per trip works out brilliantly and then 6 gas per trip from 1 gas is amazing and then starting with 9 works fixes problems, and then we move all mineral patches 1 square closer to the base and it's awesome

Poorly constructed point but hopefully you get the idea of what I'm on about,
when do we stop with those sorts of ideas and say "i'm happy with the game the way it is"

About Incontrol's point that its bad for map pools to have such variance (having some maps with 6m2g mains some with the standard 8m2g), didn't BW have maps of FAR larger variance, like fucking Island maps, Monty Hall (!) etc. Surely having a couple maps with different mineral arrangements wouldn't be that bad.

I just think they never encountered that world, their eyes are shut to the possibility. They do not even understand how popular the RC market is and if you haven't tried a perfeormance enhancing drug you can't understand the benefits of taking them while gaming.

First off, there is no conclusive proof that adderol gives you an advantage.

Second off, what about the players who have taken prescription drugs for ADD all of their life? Suddenly they have to stop taking it which could very well negatively affect their life outside of their SC career

Where you draw lines makes things stupid. What do you do about caffeine? Seriously? Beyond that, are we going to say "if you have a perscription for it, its okay, but if you don't you're disqualified"? If you take something over the counter for anxiety is that okay? If you take something for anxiety by perscription? Are you not allowed to compete period if you're taking something? What if you're taking something for your mood, that's not necessarily for ADD/ADHD?
