I think so. It's probably a measure by Blizzard to reduce point inflation.

yes its true for all regions but since KR got hit with the patch last of all regions they did have more time to collect points before the +1/-20 point thing happening now.

Probably there to stop the endless inflation of points.
Blizzard probably wants points to be a somewhat reliable indicator of a player's skill.

MKP is 2, and his Smurf is 1
MantoMan is Prime's shared account.
The way he has the top 3 accounts is probably because he lets the bonus pool stack up on one account while playing the other, and then switch. Don't get me wrong, it's a amazing, but, his smurf account has only 900 games with 4.6k points... that's why.

He still has a nearly unbeatable TvZ, but before it was the same in TvT, but now he loses to average T players...his vP was never good, but it was his only weakness, and now he's awful in TvP.
It's seems he's better than never in TvZ but worst than before in the 2 other matchups (and he often uses silly builds in GSL)
I'm one of his first hour fans, I hope he'll come back stronger then ever. At least those 2 first ladder ranks are reassuring.

This is just points ranking. Last I heard this had nothing to do with balance. It's not exactly MMR based.

The fact that there's no US in the top of the GLOBAL ladder doesn't mean anything since you wouldn't be matched up against EU or KR players on the US server.

This is likely temporary before the reset. If it becomes like wow arena and this is permanent than there would be more win trading.

It just means top US players are either less active, have less wins, or lose more often (due to the skill brackets being closer, or whatever).

Next seasons might be shorter like 3 months or something, so 4600 might be the highest anyone will ever get. Everyone on that list is sick thou, once GrandMaster takes effect the matchmaking is going to flesh out the best of the best omg so hard :o

When did the patch hit in Korea? 3/23? 3/24? Both of those accounts look like they're still getting decent points per win (+7, +8, +10) as of 3/23 and 3/24 whereas EU and US top players are getting +1 or +0. I guess the MMR of the Korean players is simply that much higher?

On HuK's stream 2 weeks ago, he played ManToMan a number of times. MTM said it was a shared practice account used by a few people. (It was a terran player using mainly marines during the stream) Correct me if I don't remember correctly, but I'm sure I do.
