I have absolutely terrible mouse control though. My hands always kinda cramp up when I play (not in a way that prohibits me from using the mouse effectively, I still have around 200 apm in sc2), but one that prohibits me from relaxing and using it really fast. I don't know what to do about it. Masters player. | ||

It's insanely hard if the circles are stacked because you click on one, the number pops up and because it's copyable, the following click doesn't trigger because I'm clicking on the test and not on the circle... That had an effect on every of those tries. | ||

But this test shows only how fast you set your mouse settings and trained to use it. I dont think that this shows how good a player is . On the other hand it definitly shows how much easier it is for some other players that are used to higher mouse speed to control stuff arround. And therefore where micro plays a big role those players have it easier to to handle it freely without hotkeys. This test sadly has no add with a keyboard where you can test at the same time wich button you need to press and to press circles over a certain time without the 10 times missing rule to easier train control at that point. Good prototype for fps tho where hotkey and clicking synergy are out of balance. | ||

trackpad !?!?? i cant even properly do internet stuff with a trackpad >.< ~110k 3rd try at almost 5 am after some drinking. ~3,5k master level. biggest problem is def endurance. just staring at those discs and concentrating all the time is hard >.> | ||

I think posting your mouse sensitivty/dpi would be more relevant then posting your league . I'm not too good at this so maybe it is just me, but I play with what most people would consider to be a very low mouse sensitivity and that seems to make it a bit harder. If they were all moved a little closer I'd be all set but I guess that defeats the purpose lol. | ||

I played it a few more times and got 50k then 30k then 40k It seems to be very random with where it places the circles so if you get lucky and have them appear in either a nice pattern or close together you can get a higher score, and vice versa if they are all over the screen. Seems like kind of a dumb game *shrug* | ||

I notice my mouse accuracy drops noticeably the first few sessions if I have not played the game for some days, even though I have used the same sensitivity for years. If I change my sensitivity by 10% the consistency and accuracy for quick movements is reduced considerably for perhaps a few weeks. It's not like I suddenly miss half the time I would normally hit, but at very high levels of refinement, the difference between very quickly moving and stopping your mouse exactly where you want 60% of the time vs 50% of the time is huge. I imagine the same kind of effect exists in SC2, though I'm crap at it and can't say for certain. Also, you can set sensitivities similar, but I don't see why you would want to. In my case, my mouse sensitivity in games is low enough (to get precise and consistent movements) that it would be unnecessary and even annoying in daily usage of Windows. | ||
