On top of what other people have said, if you think about it, the people that still inhabit the broodwar section probably know/knew about this stuff. I guarantee 99.999% of the SC2 section didn't.

Wow, this video is amazing. As I was watching it, I was hearing Day9 talk from the #100 in my head.

I just find it so incredible. I bet all three of them had no idea anything would turn out how it did. Artosis, when talking about him quitting his job, seemed like he thought it wouldn't really pile up to anything. This is one of those things documented in film that we can SEE the results from. Seriously awesome. Just think if ANY of those events would have went different, how different everything would be now.

When did they officially make the transition from High Templars into the Casting Archon?

I guess this should be posted in the BW section as well, but it should definitely be here in the SC2 section as well because these guys are all heavily involved in SC2 now, and it's great for someone like me (new to the scene) to see where these guys came from!

I love being able to see the exact moment where Tasteless' career in commentary started. Seeing Dan, Sean, and Nick so long ago being so dedicated to this game really just shows their passion and dedication to the game and to the community, and affirms the fact that they deserve every molecule of success that has come their way.

Wow, thank you for finding this/putting this together/etc. This is an amazing piece of BW/SC2 history. So much happened in that WCG that was so important to the development of the community, and it's simply amazing to see it all on video. Tasteless' commentating, Day9's rough victory, Artosis facing bitter defeat and talking to a camera immediately after it... absolutely incredible. Thank you again.

This video is amazing. I love that it coincides perfectly with Day[9] Daily #100. It makes it that much better that we had Sean's perspective and now we have this video from (almost) Artosis's perspective.

I think the best moments in the video are a short glimpse of Tasteless casting (for the first time?) and then running off to talk to someone about going to Singapore to cast. History in the making!

Anyone know if the bracket this tourney still exists somewhere? All I can find is the archives for the grand finals in Singapore. It looks like Sean just missed getting out of his group.

Was that when he 4-pooled the last game?

I'm not gonna lie I got teary eyed listening to Artosis after his loss. Makes me regret joking with him about beating him in 2007 we truly are lucky to have these guys.
