That's pretty neat. Yeah some complaints about size and transparency, but overall I'd say it's a nice feature and a definite step in the right direction concerning tournaments and casting. I don't get to say this often but good job blizzard.

Thanks for making the video, always good to just get a quick demo. Just think that some of the overlays are a bit too "in your face". I really like the top right change, but the army killed and mineral income numbers are really too big for my taste. Still, sexy as hell, and really like the fact that Blizzard is focussing more on the ESPORTS side of it all.

Its nice, but I would have to wait and seen if casters actually integrate all these options into the game well. From my experience, at least with casters using a multiple screen / multiple person set-up, tend to have one screen keeping an eye on the action and is the one the viewers see. While the other is one where they are sifting around the data tabs and jumping around the screen in order to give future cues to the main screen and to make sure they don't miss any of the action. I could seen dropping the U.I. at time of large battles, but as for a lot of the fancier tug of war graphics, I am not sure how often they will be implemented.

Maybe during the really slow parts of the game to add a little flair.

Sadly, but they will not change anything to something, like you did in picture above. Very nice UI optimization, but Blizzard 99% never will do that. They're busy and lasy to improve something new

Pretty sad that the tug of war features is blocking like half the screen, wish it was tucked away more towards the rest of the UI.

Although I dont see tug of war being used in a professional cast, not really needed to what we already have.

Name plates however, excellent addition.

Personally, i feel like the visuals could do with a li'l more polishing. The tug of war displays and such take up a little too much space, and they could color things to be a little easier on the eyes.

Nevertheless, awesome addition :D Observing will be so much more fun.

Tug of war isn't supposed to be there as a piece of constant information, it's there as a large fast way to visualise an aspect of the game really for a short time, or that's how it should be used.

Just looking at what you said and my thoughts. The APM tab at the start of the game would always be interesting to see, or going back into a game after watching it live, bringing up the apm thing during a battle. <3
