Then you only have a very small amount of tournies to actually watch then... Only the tournies where the players r in a studio should be completely live... All the others should be Off replays or How NASL is doing....

Are we free to upload the games on youtube or would it be the same with GOM (no uploads at all). I'm guessing its the latter since you want more people to pay for the tickets though I always felt the best way to spread the "word" was through youtube. [which is how I was initiated to the BW pro scene).

Q: Will replays be released? Perhaps the player could give some kind of consent for their replays to be added to a replay pack pool or whatever.

Because if NASL is not guaranteeing the security deposits and using them the cover the start-up costs of the league, then the competitors are taking a huge risk and should be informed about it. If NASL somehow fails (hopefully not) and cannot repay the security deposits, each player in the tourney is out $250. But I'm sure they are securing the deposits in a trust fund.. They have to be... Just asking for official answer.

You seriously believe that with a 400,000 prize pool, lets ignore wages and operating costs the 50 players are at a risk of losing 250$ a piece?// 250*50= $12500 Think about it before you post, seriously. (Incase your still confused 12500 is 1/32 of the prize pool, peanuts)

(Incase your still confused 12500 is 1/32 of the prize pool, peanuts) No details have been revealed about the funding. $400k may be a 'promise' from sponsors based on the success of the first season. It also may be already deposited in full, three seasons in advance, in NASL's bank account. No one knows except the organizers. Suppose only the first season's funding has been guaranteed. $100k. That's 1/8 of the prize pool. I wouldn't call it "peanuts". I'm just proposing a legitimate question about a meaningful amount of money. $250 is a lot to me, and many (if not all) progamers too.

This is one of the reasons we're requiring teams to play a role.

Will you offer a "low quality stream + VOD" or a "VOD only" package at a reduced price? I don't need a high quality 3mbits stream, primarily because I won't be able to watch it live, however I really need an access to VODs.

No details have been revealed because the sponsor(s) doesn't want to be acknowledged at this point. And it is not just a promise based on the success of the first season. They have said multiple times that the money has been secured for 3 seasons, regardless of the first seasons success or lack thereof.

All I can think of is that it's some idea for a company related to gaming somehow that doesn't yet exist, or just some dude(s) with 400k to burn.

Unless their stance changed, from what I recall they will be included with the premium packages. Makes it easier for me to copy BO ![]()

Source: The guys at StarCast (SC2 Podcast) Edit: Looks like I got beat but yea they come with the premium package (which means you should buy the premium package and support NA e-sports!)
