As well they were the first team that agreed on special circumstances concerning my studies and my personal life which I appreciated very much. After that there were very friendly talks and they agreed on my philosophy how to lead a StarCraft 2 team which means that you are going to see one of the best StarCraft 2 squads here at www.mymym.com in the future ![]() ![]() Sweet, Mondragon ftw

![]() I guess this is the final nail in the coffin for any hope of a ToT-return as well, which is a bit sad. But hey, Mondragon in a different team is better than no Mondragon at all.

He competed on top level for years. Although, he was never consistent, he was one of the top EU players for a long time.

Great news! (I expect Mondi to not perform overly well, or at least not be the key player like he used to be in ToT - I guess he is more of a playing manager like Nazgul who has a pretty high skill level but doesn't involve himself too much with the playing side)

XlorD was always known for demanding a higher salary so I wonder what ridiculous sum they're paying him. The early days of ToT had unknown players who eventually became some of the most feared names in the BW scene. What Mondragon did with ToT was simply magical. Sure, MYM currently has no proven players, but I'm very confident they will all turn out to be extraordinary players.

![]() also a very good interview with Mondragon here: http://www.mymym.com/en/article/1176/1.html some of the hightlights Hi Mondragon, good to see you back around. After you picked up SC2 during the Beta you stopped playing for a while. What happened? Mondragon: I have never stopped playing SC2. I just did not play as much as others and I did not play many tournaments, that is why people assumed I would have stopped SC2 but it's not the case! After TSL 3 was announced people interpreted that I would start again but in fact I have never stopped playing - I just don't play as much as others Are you trying to revive the ToT spirit at MYM? Mondragon: I do not want to call it ToT-spirit. The way I've lead ToT for more than a decade is a philosophy I am totally convinced of and I'll stick to that philosophy in MYM as well and base the team on the same key attitudes as I selected the members for ToT. Can people expect more additions to the team in the near future? Mondragon: We are definitely working on getting new members that fit to the team but it is easier said than done. We will try to base the team on experienced players and on a few talented players if possible. Especially in SC 2 it is quite difficult because many players are contracted. This means that you have to wait for the contracts of the prefered players to terminate.

Used to watch Xlord play UD in WC3 and he was pretty good. Edit: Ya apparently he still does, according to his interview. He can't help but be rusty staying away from real competition for so long though. Going to be a rough start back.

I know he is a BW legend but that obviously isn't sufficient for success. Used to watch Xlord play UD in WC3 and he was pretty good. Edit: Ya apparently he still does, according to his interview. He has been in EU top 200 from the beginning of Beta, from the interview(and why he joined MYM) it is because he is still busy with Exams on his University On January 16 2011 17:57 zere wrote: And, btw, he's never been gone: Masters League, rank 20, 2600 points.
