Seems like if you were in a previous s class divison you will lose 574 points. Otherwise it will be 574 + the divison tier.
I'm guessing Drew was in D class? With a 252 modifier. So he lost 574 + 252 pts when moving into the division.

why 2327? almost 50% ppl are 2327

if i win i get into masters league? what if i lose lol there are no placement matches, ladder hasnt been reset. those people got masters by just being promoted normally after winning games.

I don't think it's that simple. I keep seeing 2327 as the entry point for a lot of players, so I decided to research zizibeoo who still has a large bonus pool remaining.
He was in Tal'darim Theta with 92-72, 1748 points. Tal'darim Theta is S-rank. He gained +22 points and was moved to Master after that game with 1460 points. This is a total point change of 310.
However, what's interesting is his remaining bonus pool is 867. 1460 + 867 = 2327.

yeah i was too quick to jump to conclusions. there's a bunch of people below 2327 pts in my division currently. the rank 100 person, dreamraider has 1042 points.

I have a script that scrapes most of this, so it's just a little bit of cut and paste. Too bad I didn't think about it earlier, I could have automated the whole thing :-/
Edit: I have to manually decide which divisions to scrape unfortunately

SC2ranks also seems to have started to updated Masters league stuff btw.

It appears to wipe the point slate clean with the transfer to masters league...so everyone starts on a level playing field.
Not sure why they would do that?

o.O
The world really is going to end in 2012 2327.

It's kind of dumb seeing players with less than 50 games played in the masters league. It's basically rewarding all the people who went out and bought a new copy of the game to increaser their MMR faster.
