Don't understand why Huk is so hyped. o.O Ok, he is a nice guy, but in game competition there are many players which do more deserve this invite.

I voted for Brat_OK. He is a beast and it's a shame that he has so much problems with his visum.

Also I would give Naama, Socke, Mana, White-Ra or Dimaga a chance. But except for Brat_OK there is no one who really deserves an invite.

results:
Naama: Dreamhack winner
MaNa: Dreamhack runner-Up, several good results in EU cups
Fenix: IEM NY winner, Dreamhack 3rd
Morrow: IEM Cologne winner
Socke: ESL Pro Series Germany winner, MLG 3rd

everybodys darlings:
White Ra (won't go to Korea i think)
Dimaga
the EU terrans (Demuslim, Bratok, Strelok, Tarson, Sjow, Kas ..)

i dont know enough about the NA scene to make suggestions there, but i think Kiwi, TT1 and Select are pretty solid?

I've read a few post and here is what I think.

Huk - is there any argument against this?
Hayder - living in Korea he should go
QXC - I he should get an invite maybe the best Terran in NA.
Brak_Ok - he's pretty good.

Wow, great, thanks. It's cool how you came and spoiled something that really has nothing to do with this thread and that's ALL your post did.

How about the one and only qxc? Also Kiwikaki, Slush, HuK, Drewbie, etc. Pretty much anyone that wins or does well in major NA/EU tournaments should get the shot at some point.

I have to go HuK, qxc, and whoever the best 2 European guys are these days (or Sen if he's better than one of those two assuming he's not Code A already)
Apologize.

My European top 15 [besides ret and jinro]

White-Ra
Demuslim
Kas
BratOK
Naama
Dimaga
Mana
Naniwa
Strelok
Tarson
Socke
MorroW
SjoW

For America id say:
HuK
Tyler
Fenix
qxc
drewbie
machine
kiwikaki

All would do pretty well in Code A.

(repost from GomTV - but it was a good post)

NUMBER ONE COMMENT: The four players should also be representative of winners of big foreign tournaments. So, I dunno what time frame you will limit those tourneys to, but given that the biggest winners I know of so far are: Mouz_Naama (or was it Mana, whoever won Dreamhack) Fenix (GameGune), and Liquid'Huk (MLG Raleigh). Idra and Jinro are, of course, already Code S.

Number two point: that being said, there's certain fan favorites I'd like to see play in Code A because of their ENTERTAINMENT and therefore, marketing value. Chief among these is (1)InControl (Geoff Robinson?), who just looks cool when he's in shape and thus has more entertainment value. Skill-wise, he was one game out of GSL 3, so he should be at least competitive. Also has associated talking points like same team as Idra, and general willingness to say funny things.

(2) Fenix, just because he's from Peru and that adds international flavor. Also, SC1 player and winner of Gamegune. Also, #2 on the prize money list not affiliated with GSL (Naama #1 I think)

(3) Some European player with some tourney wins, high on the money list (Duckload-WhiteRa, Morrow). I'm not as familiar with the European scene.

(4) Maybe a player like KiwiKaki or another Euro/Ruskie, just because he's done some weird stuff and that's fun. Depends on recent tourney success though

Also, probably not TLO (sorry, I'm a fan!) just because he hasn't been winning much lately. Although he could have qualified for this season's Code A, so he kinda deserves it.

the 4 biggest tourney wins would go to Naama, Brat_OK, Fenix, and then Demuslim (that one tournament in the UK, I believe the prize pool was slightly larger than IEM's)? I guess you could also argue for Mana (2nd place DH), whitera (3rd place BC). Morrow took the other IEM so he'd have a case there.
And if you included MLG, then HuK would have a shot, Select would too (2nd place) and then TT1 (2nd place MLG, also 2nd place in the big tournament Fenix won.) I believe Sjow's big tourney win also had a significant prize pool. A lot of the tournament winners/runner ups are already in Code A/S so it's hard to say (Loner, IdrA, Jinro, Genius)

Unfortuneately there isn't really a chance for people like incontrol, haypro, nony, qxc, etc, unless they go by ladder rankings/popular opinion

Damn, InControl was a mediocre BW player and he still is a mediocre SC2 player. He may be one of the most interesting casters of SC2 related stuff, but as a player, he's just not good enough. He went to all three MLGs and never enter the top10. I do believe on entertainment value, and i think that innovative strategies (phoenixes, BCs?), new openings ot anything new to the Kr ladder would be awesome for the GSL. But what's so entertaining about Incontrol? Being bad and dying to early pressure?
