and they're awesome to boot though imo there's several mentioned in this thread who are more deserving skill-wise of haypro's and glade's spots, but they didn't make the commitment of going to korea and they don;t have the vKorean practice. guess we'll see how it turns out gl to these 4, hopefully a couple of them can hit code s next season, they've all shown impressive play in the past

NOTE: As has been pointed out, Tyler and White-ra are married, which may influence their ability to go to Korea. Also, qxc is moving to Spain for school which may/may not effect his ability to go. Lastly, if Huk and Haypro go, TL is almost ASSURED a spot in the GSTL since they'd be that much closer to the bottom two teams, and we all know they're gonna make it ![]() POLL + Show Spoiler + Poll: Which player do you think deserves MOST to be in the GSL? Brat_Ok (1951) Huk (1122) White-Ra (388) qxc (260) Dimaga (216) Nony/Liquid'Tyler (185) Incontrol (176) Demuslim (98) Other (comment) (88) Naama (70) Select (52) Drewbie (29) 4635 total votes Your vote: Which player do you think deserves MOST to be in the GSL? (Vote): Huk I took the most common names just to make it easier for everyone. I think sjow deserves to be in this poll as well

Sjow definitely could compete in code A based on his IEM performance but your comparison here is wierd considering Glade won IEM SEA/China in the same week Sjow won IEM Europe. I think we'll see Sjow in GSL 6.

As said before, mOOnGLaDe 'IEM winner' Sjow probably deserved it the same as Ret, Haypro and mOOnGLaDe, just a pity he didn't get in. But we don't need more Terrans.

I hope to see more European terrans (Sjow, Demuslim, BratOK) in Code A next season. I don't think that they will invite the same players multiple times (at least I hope so).

Bad. Ret already failed out of A because he apparently doesn't know how to make units. Huk deserved it. Haypro and Moonglade are alright but there were better options.

Haypro and Moonglade are alright but there were better options. Maybe all the other 'good' options should go give it a go in Korea, like these guys. These 4 are the top 4 foreigners on the ladder in Korea as far as I can tell (besides Idra/Jinro), and are all in Korea already. They all invested time and energy into getting into the GSL on merit, whereas other progamers who are 'better' options have not invested that same time. For this reason, I respect GSL's decision in this regard.

I don't know much about Moonglade and his success (beside IEM) tbh. And I hope and think they didn't look at the race. It doesn't matter that he's terran. But maybe it's just because he can't go to korea in time. I hope there will be an official statement of the GSL soon.

I think someone like Sjow who is really hungry for victories right now and shows consistent improvement would be a more appropriate candidate to represent foreigners. Anyway, good luck to all of them!

I was just joking about the race thing. ![]()

He has had a lot of chances in the GSL already, and lost some disappointing games. His attitude towards Zerg has also not been particularly cheerful, if I remember correctly he said that he has no clue how to beat Protoss. What's the point of inviting him as a foreigner representative if he is likely to lose early? I think someone like Sjow who is really hungry for victories right now and shows consistent improvement would be a more appropriate candidate to represent foreigners. Anyway, good luck to all of them! Ret is the worst of the invitees. He lost ugly//badly in Code A, I don't understand why he deserves a Golden Ticket back into the big show.
