I wouldn't go so far as to calling a silver/bronze level player a Joe (as was mentioned earlier in the thread). The fun of pros v joes is that you could at least try to root for a Joe and at least get some entertainment and put up some fight. A silver/bronze player would be immediately crushed. A 2500+ Diamond would probably put up a good fight against idra. IMO early pressure. proxy 2rax all-in with bunkers I think you underestimate the skill difference.....

And no, I wouldn't try to cheese IdrA in a match against an average Joe, IdrA is going to play really safe and deny the cheese and smoke you in a macro game. He can't afford to play extremely safe builds against other pros, they'll keep up with his macro. But against a Joe? Just get the game to 15 minutes and its basically over.

Players like these: http://www.sc2ranks.com/us/388538/LiquidHuK http://www.sc2ranks.com/us/390507/ROOTKiWiKaKi http://www.sc2ranks.com/us/1317068/LiquidNazgul And there's even one platinum player who would do well: http://www.sc2ranks.com/kr/2695539/LiquidTyler Realistically though, an average 2500 player wouldn't come close against average 3000 players, let alone Idra.

That's exactly what I thought too, and it's a brilliant idea. It's so brilliant in fact I don't even know why no one has done this before. Have some kind of recurring (maybe weekly?) event where random scrubs sign up to go head-to-head with pros and maybe people can donate (or the scrubs pay) money that can serve as payment to the pros. It doesn't have to be like, 2700 diamond people or anything, maybe just any random joe, as long as the pros don't go completely overboard and stomp them in 10 minutes or something. Judging by the Rumble in the Bronze event, this could be very entertaining and lucrative and I know plenty of people (myself included) who would be willing to withstand humiliation and defeat to play with some of the greats that they idolize. Plus, it would also serve as good PR for the participating pros and give them some way to blow off steam in between practice sessions. Like, something like this: Random bronze league dudes pay $20 to sign up and play a Bo3 against Idra, maybe we can fit like 3 Bo3s into 2 hours and at the end Idra comes out $60 richer and all the people on the stream get to watch Idra play around with bronze league people. Or maybe we can do more like, 1v2 or 1v3 type games where it's a pro versus a bunch of non-diamond folks. Compared to some of the tournaments floating around, it can be a profitable venture and it would be entertaining as hell to watch.

And it wont be a vod vod.. just recorded in my archive of livestream im not getting someone with highquality stream to cast because i dont wanna ask idra for too much... asking him to add a third party on skype would be more than he'd want im sure and i will recast the replays on a later date and the quality of my stream isnt high.. its the same as ive been streaming before, people havnt had many problems with it before , so shoudl be fine now

Your best bet for an entertaining match is to do something unexpected. idrA's on the fly reaction is not as good as his mastery over the mechanics. It'll certainly be more fun watching you sit in your base while idra expands 5 times.

Are you getting 3 games guaranteed, regardless of wins and losses? Because if you get ROFLstomped the first two games you should definitely cheese on the third one for funsies.
