There was live-stream. White-ra from Ukraine. This cup only for Russian players, but i hope in next cup other foreigner players can take the part =)
|
Wow, lenovo sponsored stuff :0 yay
I like the trophy design xD
|
i only opened this to check if bratok competed, when i saw the first picture of him it was obvious who won the whole thing
and we support him alright, hell, the guy's one of the very few terrans i like currently
|
We need to get closer to the russian SC scene methinks.
|
I'm glad bratok can attend some russian cups with big prize, as he has some passport problem that deprive us to see him play in big European event. And that makes me mad each time, it's very rare to see him play live in tourneys (glad he streams a lot, so I can get my weekly bratok dose )
|
Grats BratOK! I was really disappointed when you kept having visa issues for ESL's and such. Good to see you doing so well for yourself with what you can enter! You're definitely one of my favorite terrans even from back in BW. Keep it up, hopefully you can attend some other foreign events in the future!

Ok, have to say it.
What is wrong with Brat_OK's eyelids?
Is it makeup, or does he have some skin condition?
Congrats to him on the 10000$ regardless, and 2 computers? overkill :o
|
Nothing is wrong with his eyelids. It's just you.

Pretty sure he has big brows and its the shadow.
What I wanna know is why were they were playing on laptops, and was it fine with them?

It makes little difference as they play with external mouse and keyboard.
I feel very happy for Brat_OK and the other Roxkis members, well played gentlemen.

i really don't see anything wrong with his eyelids
but if there is something wrong it's probably because he's incredibly sick

the were playing on lenovo laps most likely cause lenovo sponsored the tourney. Also tourney was in night club ^^ Regarding convenience Abver said that it wasn't a bit uncomfortable cause of screen sizes afaik

Brat_OK won, who would've guessed. =P

User was temp banned for this post.

Why do you bother asking? There is absolutly no reason to ask that, and adding that you don't mean to offend. What kind of answer are you trying to get?
Because he rapes little boys? What do you want people to say. Please don't be rude to the players... Just makes me angry seeing players get called stupid shit like this when they didn't do anything.
|
Big gratz to Brat_OK, we all expected you to win =) well deserved!
|
Actually 500k rubble is like ~16k $ or even more I think.
Anyways gratz bratOK my favourite terran player
|
SEND BRATOK TO KOREA ALREADY!
one of the best Terrans outside of korea EASILY!
|
looks like a very nice tournament. maybe you should add the video of those news on poccna 2 channel which is available somewhere on goodgame.ru to the startpost.
brat_ok fighting!! i hope we will see him on more european tourneys in the future.

Grats to the win. I know that the russian scene is Huge (It was the same with WC3) but you can just never get close to it because of the language barrier.
On a side note, wasnt Happy in this tournament?

Sick lighting on some of those pics.

It seems mother Russia is not fucking around when it comes to e-sport, love the visuals of the event! Night clubs seems to be fitting very nicely as a venue.
And keep feeding us translated content about the russian scene please. :D

In what way Russian language is a higher barrier than Korean (or Swedish, Ukrainian, German etc...)? Been thinking about it, and I dunno. Maybe I should restate my post. But there is a barrier for sure. Maybe Russians are unwilling to share with the rest of the world (Not implying that the OP didn't an amzing job with this thread)

That is a nice venue and turnout
|
Those are some nice pictures, thank you for sharing!

Wow this was actually a really big thing. I'm surprised I haven't seen much Russian representation here on TL.
But now that I think about it, it kinda makes sense for Russia to be a bit isolated esports-wise. I guess that English is kinda the lingua franca of esports...because the game was produced in the US, the biggest scene is in south korea (which has a ton of English translators in part because of the military presence), and the EU has so many different languages that it's probably easiest to use English as a baseline. Whereas Russians would be more likily to be fluent in a southeast asian language or German.
