Thanks. Yeah I meant the guy that threatened to kill himself. Updated my post for clarification.

OK... I was playing a TvP on daybreak, when suddenly:
If you look at the time, nothing really had happened. Naturally I was confused:
Yep, you read it right. The fact, that my scouting SCV can disrupt his mining is clearly imbalanced and ruins the game. Apparently he was upset, that he couldn't execute his build order, because he also explained that:
So for future reference: Scouting is never ever worth it and if you don't feel the loss of mining in your build, you are a scrub!

Yahu: Your "Thanks!" was not genuine, obviously. It was an unwarranted jest.
You: it was quite genuine, my good sir. I really do offer my thanks for such easy points. They were quite simply earned, after all.

You: instead you chose to take offense. I believe because you were LOOKING to take offense.
Yahu: Lol
Your "Thanks for the easy points!" was in good spirits, and good humor?
You: Certainly. You are more likely, however, to take wins when playing in a good and patient frame of mind. Of course! I was genuinely thankful!
Yahu: Wrong. You wanted to evoke a response
You: As I am now, for this debate. It is a quite amusing why to pass the time I hope you see it in the same light as I.
Yahu: Normally when people like you jest at me after games I simply close the window before reading the words. Only this morning I figured I'd tell you You're an outright insolent ass And there is no cure for being an ass, sir
You: Well, good sir, I appreciate the gesture.
Yahu: Splendid!
You: I am quite pleased that you chose my window above all the other windows.
Yahu: I'm sure you are. You ought to be more grateful, honestly.
You: It allows me to poke fun at the way in which you choose to engage language. Your use of words such as Jape and Folly is a rarity in these parts and in these times. I am indeed quite grateful.
Yahu: Those words are rarities becuase the mass of English speaking people are uneducated in their ever-so-powerful language... Especially in the USA
You: The language itself can be quite beautiful, would you not agree? I myself am an avid reader of those who embraced the potential and possibility Shakespeare, Marlowe, Ben Johnson and the like. The british playwrights of the Elizabethan era.
Yahu: Well... beauty is relative, so I'm compelled to say that expression itself is what may be considered .... aesthetically pleasing. English particularly is perchance a more ugly language than most To me, of course There is no doubt that it is the most powerful language of the world, as of now though
You: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, one could say. I find the way words slip of the tongue quite eloquent, myself.
Yahu: Yes yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder, relative, like I said Opinionated Earlier I only stated that Americans, generally, are .... stupid, for lack of a better word.
You: Although I would find myself agreeing with you, that often what is most aesthetically pleasing is not the choice of frivolous language, but instead the heart of expression exemplified by those words. And I, sir, would expand that to include the vast majority of the world's populous.
Yahu: Well yes, of course, regarding a more universal intelligence. Americans largely are actually quite the degree more educated than the rest of the world excluding some select countries I was referring to language in particular....
You: One could argue whether or not education is truly indicative of intelligence, of course
Yahu: Americans have no respect for their vernacular, it seems.
You: But when it comes to use of language, you may be right there is little effort made to preserve language in the way that some do the French, for instance.
Yahu: I was measuring the 'intelligence' of nations. Of how a populace develops under an educatory standard. Of that measure I'd say the USA is outstanding As are a few other countries
You: The USA is certainly not too far behind, but at the same time the nation is slowly slipping in that regard.
Yahu: ^yes I agree Especially in the areas of linguistic study
You: Sadly, it is hard not to. The evidence is quite clear, although some ignore it and THAT is because some feel it to be unneeded. In a time of slashed budgets people cut that which they feel to be superfluous. unfortunately
Yahu: Yes
You: I would argue that the arts and humanities and linguistics are far from superfluous
Yahu: As would I Though, as you mentioned Those are the courses cut back upon
You: rather they are the heart and soul of a nation. Wealth and power is all well and good, but we remember nations for their developments in the arts and sciences above all else.

We might agree on the fact that he started the bm but seriously guys, have you actually read the whole thing? It's pretty funny. So stop flamming for the sake of it before actually making sure it's not thread worthy... Seriously, i'm sick of the fashion hatred on TL. You: If one is lacking in patience, I would suggest that person not que up a match at all! My jest was in good spirits and good humor. You could have chosen to match it with the same
Yahu: A match need not be slow... You can be impatient And win
Yahu: Yes, wealth and power are merely means to an end. Though Though there really is no 'end' to an empire It's crumbling maybe
You: Other than the propogation of itself, or lack thereof. In any case, good sir, this has been a fascinating and lively debate, but I unfortunately must be on my way. Good day to you.
Yahu: Good day.
As much as the reverse degeneration of this conversation into a slightly stunted discussion of political philosophy amuses me: 1. Until you post a screenshot of the game chat I have no reason to believe your messaging this guy was a response to anything in-game. AFAIK you began the BM. 2. You said "thusly." No. Just...no. My only response to this is that Thusly is totally a word. Check out Shakespeare! Otherwise, nothing else to discuss, it has all been said.
I'm just confirming that "thusly" is a word.
