Yeah, this guy is a manager. However, I don't feel he was the most BM in that conversation. Sure, he might have started it but when you respond in kind things often escalate fast. He's a good guy who spends a lot of time promoting and managing eSports, so would be stupid to hang him up on something like this. | ||

My opponent offensively GGs me, so I run all my probes out and start building stuff everywhere. I'd been floating a few hundred minerals from mining when my production was trashed so I was able to build and cancel several nexuses and let a couple finish. Kept trying to set up a base. I don't remember what he said but it was something like "lol" or "wtf you doing?" so I just replied explaining that my one BM rule is that if someone offensively GGs I don't leave, I timewaste. But this guy was absolutely determined. I WAS going to leave the game. He wasn't going to kill me, he wanted to shame me. He was going to wait until I left of my own accord. Cue the battle of wills. I had literally nothing else to do for the entire rest of the evening and could happily toy about with my PS3 whilst waiting for him to kill me. After around forty to fifty minutes gametime I told him I was going to the shops and asked if he wanted something (in reality I just went off for a bit to grab a sandwich and stuff). After about two hours of gametime I decided to see if he was awake and built a DT shrine (I had a mining base but he had every other base on the map ad had PF walled me in) and warped DTs at a proxy pylon he hadn't killed, then started working my way through the thirty or forty bunkers he had stuffed full of units using my four DTs as well as some of his production. He eventually woke up (had apparently been playing Diablo 3). After two hours twenty minutes of gametime he finally gave in and dropped a ton of nukes on my base. IIRC we actually had quite a laugh about it all afterwards and parted in good humour. The lesson? Never get into a battle of wills with someone who has far less to do with their time than you do. ;P Think I still have the replay actually.. | ||
