Idra's won tournaments, and he's extremely solid and his strategy can "hold the water", if you know what I mean. TLO imo is quite gimmicky and he's going to have lots of trouble here. I'd be extremely surprised if he defeats anyone of note.
That being said, my favorites for winning this tournament are Maka and NEXGenius. Select has a chance if Genius can't deal with his style and he lucks out and never faces a Zerg, which in fact is more than likely.

Select ZvT is very solid too, i dont think MLG was a fair display to judge him by when he played so many games in a row.

I know, it's not like Select himself said that his TvZ wasn't up to the par of good players because he has no practice partners.

TLO vs Sen at 50:50, wow. Should be an interesting match. I kinda want to see more of TLO's Zerg play, but against Sen so early, we may not see many more games.

From SEA here. I see Redarchon falling to HuK, but I see Ice taking it from Whitera. Obviously rooting for both to make a strong representation of SEA/ANZ!

kotb/mlg dc, both with respectable players.

i love watching TLO but the odds of him winning this thing as zerg are probably not very good, but switching races is one advantage to being adaptable.
GO GO TLO

kotb? Was that before starcraft 2 even came to market?

kotb = king of the beta so yes it was prior to sc2 retail.

NEXGenius is a scary Protoss. But SeleCT's TvP is unstoppable.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't Softball sen's US server ID?

Prob becuse he is entertaining to watch. Unlike many other top players. Entertainment > Everything else.

Can anyone view the stream? The first match starts in less than ten minutes. It just says "connecting."

Edit: it works, try to refresh the page.
