I always thought his high apm came from his micro and macro but turns out he's just spamming between his army and his nexus.. even in a battle. You do realize he is adding/removing probes to/from the queue right? Oh, and the vids are truly awesome. ![]()

Glad he qualified can't wait to see his play in the ro64 :D It's really special to watch. I watched other progamers playing and they looked at a point of nervosity I coulndn't even reach, but Cool seems.. well.. so cool.

He keeps a steady 300-400 apm throughout the entire game. There is nothing to micro or macro when you are still on 1 base so he just keeps spamming. That's the only way you can maintain that much apm before you reach your 3rd base.

In all these games I watched most of the pros are focused on the battle and not so much on macro, it's like the opposite of BW. I disagree, players awesome at macro in SC2 can stomp players with better micro and vice versa. It's a balance between micro and macro imo. The players that are heavy on micro in the GSL are usually ex-pro WC3 players.

Are we seeing a change from the standard samsung dt-35? Also love these videos to see the concentration of the players during the game. Thanks for posting them!

I thought they were only required to use highest texture setting? Everything else can be on low...? No? Thought this too. Don't pros play on the lowest setting possible? GSL's rule is only texture needs to be high.
