It didn't go well. Don't expect too much folks. The legends of the Korean proscene aren't automatically gonna score anything in GSL. Grrr hadn't been in the Starcraft proscene for years before he went to SC2 though. Boxer still won a few games in proleague last year. He also lost to White-Ra. No offence, to White-Ra, but no Korean Progamers should be losing to him. Well that's a bit unfair, i'm pretty sure White-Ra and the other top foreigners could all take games off B-Team koreans.
That might be true, but all I'm saying is don't get your hopes up.

wait, if it was already use, then who was email?

I'm not sure why age should matter. If anything it's to his advantage. Been there, done that.

I certainly hope so GSL 2 is looking to be 5 times better than GSL 1

Yes, he's Terran in StarCraft II also. Check out the link to Boxer v IdrA on TL from Artosis. With all the rumored/confirmed news of old pro gamers returning to the GSL for SC2, it's impossible not to start wishing for a Boxer v Fruit Dealer final. Although, with the most recent buzz, Jaedong v Boxer could even be possible. That matchup could infact collapse the fabric of existence.

What is he playing football now? I don't think or move any slower behind a computer than I did at 17, if anything I'm much faster because I've had 15 extra years of experience sitting behind a computer playing games.
The only disadvantage to older gamers is free time. With equal time there should be little drop off.

lol thats a stupid myth surrounding esports, how would a gamer start slowing down by 27 when a professional athlete hits his peak at around 29-30, their jobs are also 10000000x more phisically intensive than gaming. the main advantage young players have is that their still innocent, meaning they focus all their energy on gaming without having any worrys, as opposed to a 27 year old who has to think about his life, future etc.,(which makes him lose motivation to play) if there was money behind esports i promise you the majority of gamers would be at least 20+ years old
imo the most important difference is that when your gaming as a kid it still feels like fun, as u get older it starts feeling like a job.. and sadly were 1 generation behind before esports gets the $$ support that it needs in order for it to be considered somewhat mainstream

I think the Hand-Eye Coordination starts to decline after the age of 17 or something. I remember reading an article about a research concerning this years ago.

Such ignorance. Most gamers lose their skill after 25ish due to the fact that their eye hand coordination goes down, thus making it take longer for them to do the same actions as a 18-21 year old would.
In sports that require intense eye hand coordination like Tennis or Ping Pong, you see that most players do not do well past the age of 26-27. Why? Because eye hand coordination degrades and they simply aren't that good anymore. Games take an even higher level of eye hand coordination. You do the math.

are you seriously comparing tennis to gaming? and im pretty sure that there have been 0 scientific studies done within this field, making your statement pretty hard to back up
btw just as a side note, i went from being a 170 apm bw player(for like 5 years) to a 210 apm sc2 player

But there is no seeding in GSL so we might as well not see boxer in gsl season 2 and for that matter Cool/Tester/NaDa/July etc. They all might end up facing eachother in the pre-lims. Just a friendly reminder, the first 3 "GSL"s are to create the seeds for 2011 GSLs which will be spaced further apart and given full production quality. So although there are no seeds during these seed generators, people like Cool and HopeTorture (Rainbow) will be seeded starting in 2011!
