This right here. And Idra would add (will add) a great deal to the team.

Of course a zerg player would want to get rid of MBS. tee hee. silly idra with his ninja nerfs
also, It makes me a sad panda to see IdrA live by himself... but then again maybe he wants his privacy so he can put that pimp cane he got @ IEM cologne to good use.

Wow if MBS was removed this game would be 10x less fun and I would never play it ):
that said still a big idra fan

Personally I think this is a great move. Talk about getting a good American following (=
Not saying EG couldn't do it by themselves but idra I think can really help getting more EG exposure everywhere.

Finally it´s confirmed. It can only be a win for the team EG. There are so much nice names now it´s awesome! Really stacked team :D

Id love to hear greg in the eg vent when lzgamer streams :D the vent chat is already awesome in there

Tasteless joining the team also is fucking _sick_
Gl guys!

root gaming got incredible exposure during beta which probably created the illusion they are more solid that EG, thats my theory for why all these insane noobs think EG is some lower tier team. the fuck? i dont think inka even played much of beta until phase 2 + machine is mechanically stronger than sheth/slush IMO so the longer the game is out eventually machine will surpass the other zergs...and louder doesnt even play it seems like
also EG didnt have some shining golden boy like TLO to win fans. those are my theories because im baffled at all this "at least EG has 1 good member now" non sense

Wow, I'm guessing he's pretty happy at this point. In Korea, soon moving to his own place, doing well in the GSL and joining EG. Good luck!

Not to piss in anyones nice cup of hot chocolate, but isn't it a bit unusual for an involved team manager to be a caster for the arranging entity of a cup?

To be fair, Root is a solid team that places well consistently in all their tournaments, that doesn't take away from the fact that EG is one of the top organizations around. Let them say what they want though, Root's team is good but they're still out there looking for sponsors where EG as an organization has been doing it for years, across Warcraft 3, SC BW, CS, WoW, Quake, etc.

I think the pressure will come for some of the EG players to perform on the big stage, but i dont think its going to come as quick as people think, sc2 is new, lans are just starting and they have a solid roster of players.

After several clan war... EG vs ROOT (root is dominating)... and in the MLG Raleigh all EG memebrs were out before 1 member of root was out? or maybe Catz got out before.... don't remember.
I don't want to say that EG is a lesser team but really... right now you gotta give Rootboys some credit. They lack the sponsorship but that could be a temporary thing.
Anyhow, both team deserves to live, I'd just like to see Root get a solid sponsor

so for all those speculators I couldn't silence earlier:
EG has IdrA/Tasteless. IdrA will obviously remain in korea where he will play GSL each month and whatever else he has time for. Tasteless will promote EG in korea and those 2 will function as our homebase should EG America come to korea for .. anything
No EG does not suck. We are fucking good. We have our excuses for MLG but we do just fine in other tourneys. Short of winning we are not happy however so expect us to do BETTER. Machine, iNkA, LZgamer and myself are all top notch gamers who are taking this very very serious. We are training and theorizing and working on this. If we don't impress you now, that's fine, give us time.
haters gonna hate and all.. but sometimes idiots gonna be idiots too.
We are proud to have IdrA and Tasteless.
PS: The Lzgamer/IdrA drama? Doesn't exist. Move along.

iiNcontroL forum fwightinggg!. Beat down them haters. EG been rolling nerds for years. I do find idra to EG a little odd, as he would probably get more meaningful practice in the oGs/Liquid house. But then again his competition would know his style inside and out.

Maybe a silly question but will you guys be regular practice partners with Idra? Is that part of the deal, or is it very much do as you were doing?

Man, big players moving around a lot already. First was dimaga, then sen, and now Idra. It's a great pick up and good luck to the team in the future. US fighting yo. Canada is dominating us right now...
