He said he had some personal preferences as to why he doesn't want to be on a "kespa" team (practice hours etc) sc2 esports will be in Korea so i'd hope he stays there.
Haha yeah for sure, I wasn't saying he was bad, merely because I don't think he performed well against/with Koreans in BW? It's an uneducated assumption so I have no idea, it was just a thought.
Yeah, why wouldn't he stay in Korea... although if he wins GSL (let's hope so). He will have the doe to go anywhere he wants and travel as much as he needs to

IdrA might perfect his reaper counter from playing Lz a lot. Mmmm, EG is going to be big soon (not that it isn't already big, gonna be freaking huge soon), probably going to pick up some more sponsors easily with IdrA on the team.

I think EG has to focus on signing two other people on their roster before jumping on a rumor boat. I doubt shit will happen about this.
|
It isn't really a rumor, if you watch the VOD on gomtv.net, tasteless says idra has joined EG and so has himself. I don't think he's careless enough to announce something that isn't so set in stone already.

Indeed, he mentions it at least twice.

I don't think Tasteless would say he is the captain of a team (didn't he?) and IdrA joined the team just for no reason during the biggest tournament so far. Personally, I think it's really stupid, because I'm not a huge fan of EG (mostly the non sc2 squads), but it's still cool of him to pick a major american team.

I am sure Idra is being paid a salary.

Probably just organizer and helper for when other eG members want to visit Korea for tourneys.

$24,000 a year isn't quite a lot, but I'm assuming EG are going to foot the cost for his living expenses in Korea.

Very unexpecxted move.. I wish him the best of luck with his new Team

basically said him and tasteless are living together and hes in EG
and hes getting his own apartment soon.. god my french is terrible

I read somewhere that the average Korean salary is somewhere around $20,000/year. This was a little while ago so I don't remember exactly. Maybe somebody from Korea can confirm? So he should be able to afford rent and food + save on the side with 24k/year?

Q: What do you have planned for South Korea. How long do you intend on staying and what are you objectives.
A: Thanks to the GSL, I think Korea is the place to be for Starcraft II at the moment. Until that changes, I'll stay here. I signed with the American team EG, and they're supporting me through GSL and other international tournaments.
