I personally don't mind the pixelated look, but can see how some people would.
As far as the free stream goes, I won't/can't/shouldn't complain, because it's free.

Nope. Actually think before post please. Using this as a marketing ploy, drawing the rage from so many users then having to reimburse them, etc. is so bad, I don't know why you would even come up with that idea.

I might buy the stream now.

There were probably testing the water to see if the could get away with charging people.

mods need to change the poll to "NOW will you pay for GOM's GSL stream?"
"Before I wouldnt, but now I am"
|
where can I watch the GSL for free then?

So they went from charging a ridiculous price for a shitty product to a resonable price for a shitty product.

Its actually done quite often. People are quick to forget things and move on. Especially when its Gom alone that has the control over the streams. (we cant go somewhere else)
The government will sometimes purposefully leak information about upcoming bills to see what the public's response to it will be. If its negative then they will kill the bill before it ever gets into a legitimate vote.

They're going to have top line computers watching the game at Ultra settings with a bitrate only suitable for a 2 generation old smart phone's resolution. Now expand that to fir your monitor's resolution.
Shader effects will be a mushy blur.

tastosis casting top korean gamers is not a shitty product, regardless of stream quality

I and many other people have gone from a "wont watch" to a "will check out the free stream". Which is good because although we arent buying a ticket now we are being exposed to the product (gomtv) and if we like the experience would consider purchasing the premium service.
But than again that depends on us likeing the original expierence (which requires a good definition stream) and liking the premium service (which requires a great definition stream). Point is if your product (both streams) isnt up to snuff than your losing customers.

We need a new poll.

I don't particularly care about this. I want Gretech to concede to KesPA in the MSL OSL and Proleague debate.
|
I think they asked themselves "What would Kespa do?" and then chose the opposite.
|
On site the price is still the same?
|
Does anyone know what quality the vods will be? If they are good, ill definitely buy this. Also, if I buy I get all of the fasted games right?
|
An organisation that listens? And within a time-period that's not "soon" ? I like it!
|
somehow i feel bad for gretech. they seem to be loosing against kespa and their allies and their stream is for free now

Thing is, if you live in NA, the only way you can watch the tournament still is by watching it live at 5AM since they still restrict us from watching VODs unless we pay.
I wake up to watch BW anyway, so it is fine for me, but I know some people will still be disappointed.

I wonder if the VODs will be any higher quality than the weak 500kbps "HQ" stream. Probably not.
