This team thing is so silly. You're fostering team vs team conflict/drama for viewers over competitiveness. I think that is the wrong way to start with this whole north american esports movement.
I know a couple of Koreans that disagree with you.

This seems hilariously melodramatic to me. Why cant we all just live with the decision that has been made?

Some of the things said are so ridiculous.
Idra commenting on someone being arrogant? Are you kidding? HuK hasn't said anything bad, EVERY player talks themselves up. It's what you're supposed to do.
What you're not supposed to do is hating on other players that pursue the same dream as you, and he doesn't.
|
Wow, Idra implied Huk is overconfident, wow please look at a mirror Idra. About the ceremony, he was defending Kelly. People talked shit about Kelly include Incontrol and Idra. Please give me a break.
|
Actually having InControl on the show will be a good way to sell the league. This league needs entertainment value, not boring casters. We need DRAMA if not it's gonna be boring. Actually i don't why you guys are complaining...Artosis is probably more rude than InControl but you still love him don't you?
I am pretty sure Day9 or other major casters don't have the time on their schedule. And also, what's good about this is that InControl is really present in the community so that's just another plus. I just hope he'll be unbiased on players' picks for the tournament.

Omg Tyler just said negative nancy, I have to say thats the cutest thing ever!! But i thought they were doing freaken amazing job!!! Please dont let them get you down!

By excluding players without a team and the 5 person cap per team all they are doing is excluding potential top 50 players and watering down the talent in the NASL. I mean does anyone really want to see some no name players from small teams instead of Ra/haypro/etc.
Wasn't White-Ra allowed to play for mouz but was obligated have Duckload in his name? Or has this changed?
|
Nope, hes not part of Mouz anymore.
|
White-ra can obviously play, they put him in their own poll, they can arbitrarly put him in team duckload or team white-ra or w/e

A lot of people in the chat thought WhiteRa wouldn't be able to compete.
The difference between him and some random guy though is that WhiteRa is an established pro WITH a sponsorship. Do you honestly believe they wouldn't allow WHITE RA to be in the NASL if he wanted to be in it?
Don't be silly.

Someone call Geoff on this hypocritical shit. He's white knighting Kelly and the people who criticized her when he spent an hour mocking her during her debut. Stuff like this is why people can't stand you Geoff. It's not okay when you do it to say "I was just kidding" while criticizing others for the same shit.

HuK is right, Idra ought to respect his dedication and ability. And furthermore, HuK is right about Kellymilkies too. She wasn't that bad at all. Except what idra did is in the past and what huk did is relevant now, Kelly's issue is her accent more than ability.

He said he made fun of her voice and still finds it funny (among other casters like TB) but is against people flaming her for her knowledge or sending her death threats. It's still a bit hypocritical, but nevertheless not as bad as you are saying.

I agree with the people who say most likely whitera is going to be able to play, but really that isn't the point. The point is that potentially there are top 50 quality players who won't be able to play because of the rules. I understand their reasoning but I really don't think making rules which will lower the overall talent level in the tournament is a good idea.

But that's exactly Tyler's point. White-ra might get exempted from the rule but other players might not.
That will hinder up and coming player.Said player must decide between joining established teams like TL/EG who can send them to LANs or joining NASL.
And when you start giving exceptions, where do you draw the line.
The rule has a lot of flaws and long term implications as of now
