Come on guys, at least use good analogies if you are going to argue a point, and despite all that... you don't have to be like the NBA! I'm still looking forward to the league, but between requiring a team AND not allowing more than 5 people per team, I'm a bit disappointed. :-

And they want the players to play that many games. A valid point, but at least if there were 10 divisions they could allow more players from each team to play in the tournament without meeting each other in a group stage. I'm just kind of echoing Tyler's point and obviously its too close to the league start date to considerably change the rule set or league format but in future seasons that rule may need to be looked at. Imagine if there were a limit on oGs/TSL/IM players in GSL.

Can't play in a basketball game without a team! Just kidding =p but that was a really poor argument. Even the normally neutral JP was ready to rip into that just that he was being nice

Every player on team liquid could be considered one of the top 50 players in the world. Are you really saying you are going to take a worse player into the league because of an arbitrary restriction to team numbers? This team thing is so silly. You're fostering team vs team conflict/drama for viewers over competitiveness. I think that is the wrong way to start with this whole north american esports movement. Also: The huk thing: I think he was telling people to stop talking about the code A seeding. People were criticizing foreigners getting put in code A without having to qualify. Huk demonstrated that he could best code A players and therefore people should stop saying they aren't up to snuff. It further bothers me that you guys are trying to encourage ceremonies for your own league but will rip on huk for a ceremony five minutes later.
