The prize for winning Code A is that size becasue it is essentially rewarding the 33rd placed player in the tournament. $1500 for being the 33rd ranked player is pretty damn good. The money for winning Code A is just a token prize, the real reward is getting into Code S, with it's potential for much higher prize money and salary for players. The SC2 scene has exploded and is pretty big now, but lets not get ahead of ourselves here, the scene is just not big enough to support players who are not good enough to make Top32 as professional players. If you would have suggested getting 1500 for winning a qualifier, which is what Code A is, a few years ago you would have been told to get your head out of the clouds because that is never going to happen. Suddenly people seem to be expecting to win big money and become "pro" without even really winning anything, that's just not going to happen right now. If a foreigner is going to compete in Korea full time then they are going to have to be good enough to make Code S. If they aren't, then suck it up princess becasue you're not good enough to live off playing games in a country on the other side of the world. Korea isn't the promised land and there is no pot of gold unless you are good enough to actually win. The foreigner house is a great stepping stone for those that are good enough for Code S, but it's not going to result in a flood of foreigners invading the GSL because that bar of entry is higher than ever and it's not going to get easier. The house doesn't effect how difficult it is to actually get into Code S. | ||

I didn't actually google Day[9] to check how far down the list these stories will be) Have you been out in the world lately? The majority of celebrities (humans in general) have some dirt on them, I could probably easily find something controversal John Madden has said with a bit of googling. You know what? Most people don't give a shit. (Also lol hi Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12) I've heard worse stories on live to air radio, gossip magazines, twitter posts and random blogs. You are blowing this way out of proportion. | ||
