P.s. I agree 1000 percent with day9 that gameplay should be priotized over balance. I just don't think maps are the answer when so many huge design flaws exist.

Perhaps it is because SC2 was booming and you were basking in its glory, and now you've contributed to fumbling the ball with continual immature and embarassing handling of it.

It saddens me to see how this situation and these people have evolved as reality has set in over time. This is of course just my opinion, having been a fan of State of the Game and SC2 since beta.

Come on man. At least give me a chance to take you serious..

We talk about everything being OK AND HAPPY! -> CORPORATE SELL OUT/FLUFF/LIARS !! ! ! !

We talk MOSTLY in honest tones -> NEGATIVE!/UNGRATEFUL!/NOT A PILLAR NOW!

We are used to it. People are violently on either side of every subject we discuss and HOW we discuss it. I just like to point it out to people from time to time and hope they see some other perspective.

How are "Am I the only one" and "I turned it off half way" mutually exclusive? I turned it off half way because it was painful for me to watch, not because I have some vendetta. I don't really require you to take me seriously. I'm just commenting on the awful, heartbreaking negativity that you were and have been exuding. I'm not asking for "Everything's wonderful and great!", but attempting to look at the silver lining would be a nice change. I just thought it was sad to tune in to "My 2014 is going to be shitty, you won't see me around much, every change Blizzard has made is terrible, I guess I'll be jumping games". I just watched awesome tournament after awesome tournament, so I guess I don't see where you're coming from.

I suppose I was hoping for "State of THE Game", not "Sad State of MY game".

We did discuss "silver linings" in fact that is quotable from the very episode. I even stated that 2014 will be better than 2013.

ok done responding to you.. cannot believe I fell for it again. My 2014 is going to be fantastic no idea where you got it in your head that I was saying I am doing bad or something lol.

PS: Mutually exclusive? Do you even know what that means? How is that in reference to what I said at all?

Please continue doing awesome things rather then trying to get dragged down by random comments. :D

doesnt feel like the same show...i guess everyone "grew up" a bit...a bit more mature...a bit more serious...less fun for audience...but at least they did it! so thanks!

It did not live up to my expectations. I expected a "So drunk that I say things I will regret it tomorrow"-show like the other holiday shows. This is not to say it sucked, just that it wasn't what I expected.

Incontrol didn't even bring out his classy bag in box wine.

Opposite for me, I wanted them to speak their mind about the game because we haven't had a SotG for aaaages. I'd only want a stupid episode if we consistently got proper SotGs, which probably won't happen any more

I think there are plenty of other shows that do what SotG used to do in a new way, and because of that we don't really need SotG in it's old incarnation anymore. However, to see that they can still get together and do it is pleasant, and a good sign.

I'm hoping that no matter what games or events or shows they do, this crew can stick together and wants to bring fun content every now and then.

So I take it SOTG is dead now? Since I mean we have inside the game (EG show) and META (the try hard version of SOTG jk) And JP seems to do more lets plays and rollplay these days I guess. Well was my favorite SC talk show that is for sure. I will miss it if it is dead.

They usually do a Christmas show. But other than that, yes.

Curse you all for waking this thread from its peaceful slumber. It got my hopes up that we were reliving the glory days, when free content flowed from the mountaintops like a raging river—content that we had a god-given right to receive. I wish someone would acquire this show from JP so they could run it regularly. The weekly talk shows were some of my favorite parts of the glory days.
