Great show, very educational and mannered. Nothing more to be said on that. As for balance, I say we give the game more time to figure itself out first. Good stuff overall though.

Im a Terran player and I agree with moonglade there should be an energy cost for the medivac speed boost!! very good suggestion..

so if, for example, the voidray was too strong vs zergs but ok in other matchups, would blizzard ever be ok with changing the voidray only against a certain race?

Artosis and Moonglade mentioned ideas for changing voidray solely in PvZ, and since corruption has been a largly useless and underwhelming ability since launch of WoL... why not finally give it more versitility? Why not give it the ability to cancel the voidray charge? this keeps VR just as strong in the other matchups, while giving zerg at least a bit more of an answer to the massing of this single unit lategame.

I am being forced to comment on here, Good discussion on balance tonight, definitely think something should be changed with the medivac. And for the record I kind of miss the ridiculous comments that Geoff and other some other people bring to the show.

Why not giving corruptor +1 range ? It would put corruptor a 7 range and VR at 6 while viking stay at 9 ?

1. Higher priority on mines is a good idea.
2. Damage or Health nerf on Void ray probably a good idea aswell.
3. As for the medivac, I think one of two choices, longer cooldown on the boosters, or having the speed time reduced from 8 seconds to like 6 or something.
4. The mothership core is a really hard one to look at, is the core itself to strong?, is it ok but it comes out to fast?, is the nexus cannon to strong?, is the nexus cannon to cheap? -- No idea what to do with it, if anything needs to be done at all. Seems abit unfair that protosses can so easily scout with it and even hold of any aggression against the nexus.

I'm with artosis, bring back the old WoL void rays with speed upgrade and get rid of the charge up spell. Make them into a flying harass unit that does alright vs corrupters rather than destroying them.

not that this should turn into a balance thread but people still want to see nerfs. that's what made WoL boring, dudes. Just make small buffs where it makes sense or the game will get incredibly lame.
