I'm quickly becoming a Major fan - I used to be a sceptic of his, considering the many team changes in his past, but he has a really great personality, is rational and funny. Wouldn't mind at all to see him more often on the show! Thanks JP

They wouldn't even have to push back the finals or second group stage if they did this. Then, they didn't even replace him, which gave Hyun a free win, which devalues that whole group. And finally on top of all that not having one of the top 5(?) players in the world in your event because you didn't want to reschedule the group devalues the whole tournament, because who ever wins, didn't have to face Rain, or the person who was able to take a series or group win from him. It seems less like KESPA pulling their player, and more like GOM, not making allowances for that player, which is weird considering all the drama that happened a few months ago. If you had cared enough to look up the statement made by gom, you could see there was no possible way to move the day because of players leaving for MLG and GSTL taking up the other broadcast days during that week. Why you would think gom would purposely not try to fix the schedule to let him play in their league is very puzzling, they lose and no one wins. ( except kespa, sort of )

( except kespa, sort of ) I did look at the statement, pushing back the second group stage by 1 day and actually using the 17th and 18th of that month for code A matches would allow the whole tournament to run without a hitch. They had the option. Also nobody from the code A matches are in IEM or WCS that weekend. Why? I don't think they have any reason, there really isn't a reason to not have a player like Rain. I'm just saying that it is strange that they did in fact have an option, but didn't see it I guess. And how does KESPA win? They certainly want their players to win against ESF players. You seem to be one of those white-knight GOM lovers though, so I forgive you.

There is a thread that discussed this to death, what could they possibly achieve by discussing this despite reiterating what has been stated a thousand times (no schedule slip possible due to finals in Las Vegas, every single other team/player was competent enough to inform GOM ahead of time, the forfeit was the mildest possible punishment compared to Fnatic.Rain etc), except to stir up drama or endulge in conspiracy theories.. Good move not to discuss this on the show.

You seem to be one of those white-knight GOM lovers though, so I forgive you. You are suggesting using the 12th to play his group? The likely reason that isn't possible is because there would be no time to hold the group selection ceremony, and no time for them to prepare for their ro16 matches if they ended up in the group that plays on the following day. Like you said, there's no reason to not try to make it work. I'm sure they did try everything possible, they only lose viewers and tournament prestige by having him forfeit. Kespa wins by having their competitor lose out on having him in their tournament, this is the same Kespa that didn't want their players to play in GSL at all in order to make the OSL the most watched and most prestigious league in Korea. If they wanted their players to win against the ESF players they can have it done in their own tournament with the eyes on them and their sponsors. Lastly, there's no need to add personal attacks to your arguments if they can support themselves well, I would suggest you refrain from doing that if you want people to enjoy speaking with you.
