Day9 got the closest to what I was thinking, but where was the comment that using the N word period, is actually kinda wrong? Then to joke about it at the end of the show? You have to be kidding me. Orb dismissed people who are outraged as just being "HATERS". I don't hate you because you have a good job in E-Sports, I dislike you because you are a racist bigot with no grasp on reality or what is right/wrong. No matter how much you wanted to offend someone, you should never use the N word, its simple. Since JP brought up Idra. Saying "you're so fucking dumb it works" "nice race" is no where as severe as saying "you take dumb N risks" Sadly parents in this world don't teach their kids that racism is wrong, and you are a prime example. Your parents let you and society down. You have now started a meme which involves a racial slur, good job bro. Funny thing is, indirectly, you have done exactly what you bitched about on the show. Now a new sponsor will check out the SC2 scene and the first thing that will jump out at them is how freely people are willing to say "dumb N risks". I'd love to associate my company with this community! There is a reason LoL is growing bigger than SC2. I've played about 20 games of LoL and I've heard the n-word in literally every single game (yes I did count) The SC2 community is fucking Bambi compared to the LoL community in terms of language, racism, and general manner I mean honestly if a LoL caster called someone an n-word in a non-streamed game nobody would even bat an eye let alone start a thousand post thread as a response | ||

Why mention that using the N word is wrong? Isn't it obvious? Orb said it was bad and awful right off the bat. No point in repeating that. As Sundance would say, Orb gets it, SOTG gets it. I hope the listeners also get it. Do you truly think he is racist because he used the n word? In my opinion, it's just a word he uses as an insult, without truly understanding the meaning of the word and how powerful it is... A lot of people use "fag" the same way. I don't think that necessarily make them homophobic either. Obviously, it doesn't excuse them in any way from using them. | ||
