Could you imagine how boring the show would be if it was Naniwa, Socke, Mana, and SaSe? That is why Could you imagine how awsome the show would be if it was Khaldor, Stephano, MaoMaN and BlinG ? There's a lot of example, i'm just using the recent HSC personality as example but you get the point. Stephano wouldn't be that interesting as a pillar.

Hello from France ! I wanted to suggest an idea for the year 2012:
Could you do each time we have an episode a poll within the hosts, about a player of the week, and a game of the week.
That way we could at least talk in depth about one starcraft player( and maybe learn some interesting stuff.) and same thing for a game of the week.
The host would have to talk about the game/ analyze it. And tell why they loved it etc etc... some more in depth starcraft II talk : )
Sorry for my english and cheers everyone !
love the show !
yes! that is a fantastic idea. i would love for them to return to talking about the players and actual games themselves. too much talk about casters lately.

when is the next SOTG? ive never been able to find myself in a time when it was on...

There is already a SotG like show for EU, but it's in German. It's called Szenecast and has Hasuobs, Socke, Darkforce etc as hosts.

They're still deliberating on when the next episode is. The OP will be updated when a date is decided on (I think).

I'm from Europe I think the time should stay the same. First of all, because I LOVE Artosis and I would hate to see him leave the show. And second, even it the show was at 12pm CET (meaning 6pm EST and 3am PST right?) I still wouldnt watch it because of work. So stick to the time and I gladly continue watching the VOD.

Show in german is so not for the EU, thats a state of the game for germans and thats it (I have never watched the show and given it's in german I probably never will, so I can't confirm/deny how much of a sotg it actually is). And like Bitter I don't think we need a seperate show for EU, we just need someone from EU to be on the show.
If new times are decent they should either add a EU pillar or have some european guys on the show from time to time.

JK, im a fan of the show

it seems people are being better this year. I remember last year after the new year when people were picking up their pick forks and torches crying out, "If you don't make a show someone else will." lol Maybe the TL population has matured?

yo JP, this is for you bro! Screw you for saying Bach's Ave Maria was depressing! seriously. other then that, love what you're doing, keep it up you're a truly indispensable pillar of the SC2 community <3

I don't think they are discriminating against Europe or anything lol, I think its just that not many people are willing to do a show every week at some weird time (very early morning, like 3-4am ish it would start i believe), and out of the people who are willing to, maybe there aren't many who would make good pillars? I think that is basically what it comes down to

you can't please everyone with your air time. that's why vods exist.
no one has ever gotten mad at gsl for being on at 5 AM eastern time
right now it's a piece of my (and many others') week, latenight on Tuesdays means I'm not out or busy when it's on. I hope it doesn't change.
