Who cares about everything else? Code S is where it's at.

Hey guys thanks for doing a show tonight. The quality sucked, but it was fun anyways
|
Kennigit you magnificent bastard.
|
When did they start it? I just turned on my stream to hear them do shoutouts.

Does anyone know how long the VOD takes to be put up after a show? My schedule doesn't allow me to view it live unless it sticks to its current time so I'm curious if i could watch it tonight.

How has been Terran been doing bad recently? Last time I checked GSL is still very Terran dominant and I guess MVP winning Blizzcon means nothing right?
The last good result from a foreign Terran is month ago. Only Korean are doing well as Terran.

As stated before, it's literally just the GSL. Thorzain is probably the best foreign terran and he hasn't shown top results at all lately. P and Z has for all starcraft 2 dominated the foreign scene in tournament results.

It's almost always been that way in the foreign scene though. We all know there's a certain... stigma... attached to playing terran. Plus two of the best foreign terrans switched to zerg (TLO and Morrow). Then you have Jinro whose play has fallen off, Goody and Sjow both play with really low APM, and that just doesn't leave many serious competitors playing terran in the foreign scene... Kas and Strelok come to mind, but they've never gone to Korea, which is what really boosted the play of most of the rest of our foreign heroes. DeMuslim has a lot of potential though, so maybe he'll be able to show some results. ThorZain didn't really commit to Korea, but he's still fairly strong.
Anyway, you can't really judge the game below its top level, and at the top level the Koreans are showing that Terran can still win. Until a strong foreign Terran either steps up his game or goes to Korea, you're going to see players like HuK, NaNiwa, IdrA and maybe Stephano (the ONE outlier who seems to do well without Korean training) continue to win all the foreign events. It just so happens none of them are terran :/

Stop living in the past. Actually, a fair few of those who continously state Terran is OP should stop living in the past. We are talking in the "present." So many Terrans are having troubles right now, however not many are being too vocal about it since the majority would just flame.
Personally for me, it really gets frustrating the amount of people that are so biased against Terran. It's not just a large portion of the community in general, but also many well known casters as well.
From what I have observed, there are a lot of top pro Terrans who are evidently experiencing troubles in the T v P MU specifically. However there are only a couple out of the pool who have actually said something about it.
But, yeah you're right. GSL is where it's at. Nerf Terran again please Blizzard.

The last good result from a foreign Terran is month ago. Only Korean are doing well as Terran. Foreigners are also for the most part worse than Koreans. The only foreigner terran largely considered to be Korean-tier was Thorzain, and he seems out of practice/slumping recently. Other top foreigner terrans like Kas are online monsters but still haven't had a LAN breakthrough yet.
And what are you talking about? Goody won got second at Battle in Berlin (notably beating Stephano) like a week ago. I didn't realise the only consistently meching pro wasn't a terran player now O_o.
Edit: if you want to make a case for terran being underpowered you have to compare the best with the best. Foreigner terrans are not equal to Korean terrans right now, and if foreign zergs (ie. Idra/Stephano) and foreign protoss (ie. Huk/Sase/Naniwa lolo) are as good as any Korean, of course it looks bad. At least one absolute top tier foreigner/korean is at every event; it's no surprise they win. That's not imbalance - that's fucking balance.
Go crack a whip over the back of Thorzain or Demuslim before you complain. The top 4 of fucking WCG Korea was terran =/
I'm stupid, Goody didn't win shit.

A midi version of Danse Macabre? Next time could you at least use a real recording? :p

Goody placed second, Nerchio won.

If anything the foreign scene is "player dominated"... It does not seem to be race dominated at all.
|
Terran being up is completely rediculous.... I am sorry that some people are having a tough time with terran, also it sucks that end game tvp is looking to be protoss favored right now but to say that t is anywhere close to the weakest race is just asinine.
5/8 top elo players are terran, 11/25 are terran (that is 44%) and as many pros will tell you it isn't necessarily the winner that will tell you how a tournament goes. Looking at MLG you will see that a bunch of T's were kicked by TvT (which is the absence of under powered). 15/32 players in the top 32 is not underpowered. I would consider saying that 5/32 (p) is fairly poor but out of those 5, 3 are in the top 6 and all of them are in the top 16.

Terran is not UP, it's not what i meant. It's just, Terran might be on the strongest side, but to achieve that, you need crazy good mechanics as Korean have. Foreigner Terran are doing so bad its not even funny. Who was the previous foreigner terran hope before Thorzain ? Jinro ? That's a fucking year ago.

I assume there isn't VoDs up yet? What was the show about?
