Come on guys. If you think Day9's dailys take up as much time as any pros typical practice hours + whatever else they have to do.... Incontrol has always been more busy than Day9 and had to be forced off the show for him to miss it. Remember how he was traveling and had a webcam up in a closet or something so he could still make it? If Day9 even gets on the show, he is usually leaving to have a snack half way in. You guys should stop making excuses as to why he is never there. He obviously just dose not give it as much priority as the other pillars.

Destiny is able to realistically talk strategy when need be instead of pure theorycraft like Day9 which is one of the biggest things for me. Come on guys. And what happend, Incontrol was a month later admitting to being overworked and close to a mental breakdown. I rather wish day9 is healthy and can keep on doing the many things within the SC2 community, that you a bit rudely puts down as "dailys". However, destiny was great on the show and if Sean needs to do other stuff it would be great if destiny can be on more. Sean could perhaps be a bit of a loose pillar, while destiny takes a more solid role on the panel. Destiny sure is more outspoken and can create more "talking points".

From reading the thread you can gain a lot of insight as to why it takes so long and why it's a difficult process, but really I would like to at least hear the experiences that the players have had and if they're okay with it or if they think reform is necessary.

They have talked about this issue on a past show, like over half a year ago. If i remember correctly they concluded that eswc and esl have allways been late or just plain not giving the prizes out.

This feels different, though, in that a LOT of pros are all congregating into a single thread to complain about the issue, and I feel like this issue is getting a lot more support and limelight than it ever has in the past.

If not it's completely understandable.

It is also important to have good presidents as E-sports hopefully grows. I would also like to hear what the pros suggest. But you also have to remember the hosts are old in E-sports and really don't expect much better. As the thread seems to conclude this has been the norm.

Yes, i agree, now that one year has passed and sc2 has seen a insane popularity growth, more people will speak up on the faults. edit: sorry Slam i cant remember the show number, dont think they dwelled much on it tho.

While I too would love a president that supports ESPORTs, I think the word you're looking for is precedent :p
