A big part of what made SotG so cool before was the diversity of the hosts. You had an MLG representative in JP, an EG guy in iNcontroL, a TL guy in Tyler, and a caster/independent/day9tv representative in Day[9]. This allowed (sometimes to my chagrin but always for the better) for multiple sides/angles of every subject to be covered. I also hope that SotG doesn't simply become a vehicle for MLG soapboxing like many perceive ItG to be (and kind of is). For now and until he proves otherwise, I'll trust that JP can/will find the balance between sponsor/parent company promotion and staying true to the original spirit of SotG. Really excited for the 4th of July now!! | ||
