JP clearly cares deeply about Sotg, and DJ putting his show on the same day, a few hours before sotg, and using a pillar + somebody who is on sotg all the time (idra) certainly was a HUGE hit to sotg and is probably (we don't know everything obviously) the main reason why sotg is on hiatus. On top of that sotg used to talk strats all the time (not so much recently) and that is obviously a huge overlap with inside the game now. I hope this hasn't created bad blood between the two. *giggle* ^_^ Your so BM > ![]() Can't wait for sotg to come back.

JP can pick soo many other players that we've seen on HSC3 and who did an amazing job at casting + analysing the games (like HasuObs, ToD, Grubby, Haypro, Demuslim, etc.)

JP I hope preparations are going well and SoTG will relaunch soon. I love the show and know it will be even more awesome when it finally does. My suggestion is to make it after July 12th because nerd everywhere will be preoccupied with A Dance With Dragons.

I think you're trying way to hard to look for patterns (drama) where they just don't exist. The simple answer is SotG is on break because JP moved and needed time to do that and get settled. Done.

Seems like unnecessary competition when there are plenty of other days in the week. I assume the giggle is because the reasoning for this was mentioned before elsewhere, so I'll go look for it. Well just looking at the schedule of djWHEAT, Idra, iNcontroL and PainUser answers this question pretty easily. Geoff was casting NASL monday through friday with the exception of Tuesday, because that is the day he was playing. ITG takes place on Tuesday, Geoff's free day.

And everyone else has been busy too. After the last show there has been MLG, DH and HSC3. Idra and Tyler were in all three and JP works MLG. Day9 worked MLG and DH. Hard to have SotG when everyone is committed to doing other things. JP timed his move pretty well because there might not have been SotG because how busy the other pillars have been recently.

And I think doing Inside the Game is one of his EG obligations that he can't just get out of. And they may be demanding exclusivity, but that's just me speculating. It seems like the EG is ramping up their projects and demands on their players recently. Which they have the right to do. They're paying them, afterall.

I would sure like it though because i usually listen to it later in the week anyways. I think that europe should make a similar show in english, with grubby, tod, hasuobs, haypro etc. with someone like take or similar as main host. I know there is a german version but one encompassing all of europe would be cool (if it doesnt exist already)
