You're absolutely right, I am being over dramatic but I really hate when something amazing is ruined because you can pulled the strings when your show isn't doing as well in comparison. I feel for JP mostly. I've already stated iNc is why I started watching SotG and he was my favorite person in e-sports literally, I have spent a good amount of time making a soundboard of all the funny shit he said on SotG and other gems I randomly found (Although I never finished and released it) so ya... I dunno. SotG was one of my favorite things to do in this community and it would get me through the Wednesday workday easily and after watching every episode and showing my support in the best I could I just really hate how it may possibly come to an end. We all know the show won't be the same... | ||

I too noticed when Inc started scaling back on his jokes, and Im guessing its because of the figure he'd become (NASL, representing EG ect), and I gotta look at that from his shoes. This is his job, how he supports his way of life. And the decisions he makes that best secures that, whether I or any of us like them or not, doesnt matter. The show will not quite be the same without him, but I will always tune in. Ya it sucks that JP is losing him as a co-host but you gotta focus on all the fucking awesome shit he, JP and Day have brought to the community that was rarely seen or non existent in BW. I will keep looking at all the good stuff and not the negative that always accompanies it. | ||

I guess I just wasn't ready for the corporate BS to take over and kill something that was the grassroot podcast of SC2. It just really annoys me when instead of competing with a product you eliminate it all together (Or at least its advantage) instead of actually trying to make your own show just as great. What if SotG doesn't come back from this? If iNc isn't allowed to do SotG then I doubt IdrA will be seen on it again either. IdrA to me, was becoming if not already a pillar to SotG. He brought something to every episode he was on and was a frequent guest. Without the option of him or iNc I just don't see JP being able to fill those shoes. It would have been better if iNc/EG could have been straight up with us on the reasoning too, the action is just as annoying to me as the delivery. Which I guess is why I blamed iNc. I'm sure he was told to do that, but still. Like I said, I just don't know how to really make you see where I'm coming from here, but it effected me enough to make it a point to avoid EG/iNc from here on out in hopes that doing so says it 100x better than I can word it. Actions speak louder than words. I know it's not like iNc noticed 1 less follower and EG all the same, but still. Not sure what else to do. I wish I could be as positive as you on this type of shit, because then I wouldn't have to look like an idiot posting all this. | ||

I did find it a bit odd that he said it might be his last show "ever"... but maybe he was just being a bit dramatic? I'd love to see him come back on the show during slow tournament times... as I love his personality addition to the show, but SOTG will definitely not die without him, unless they all just walk away. I'm quite sad about SOTG going dark for a few weeks, as I love getting my weekly fix of SC2 news and progamers gabbing at eachother, I'll definitely be eagerly awaiting it to come back. I'm actually quite interested to see what Day9 does.... he's been busy with his dailies and Master's of course... but I wonder if he'll take this opportunity to come back to SOTG, or leave it as well? Would love to see him back, but I can imagine this is the "calm before the storm" where his schedule fills up extremely quickly. Anyways, will be interesting to see what happens. | ||
