If you missed it last night in the Gosucoaching weekly tournament this happened
Just about killed JP and myself trying to cast it, completely amazing hilarious stuff and for the haters:
yes it deserves it's own thread. I mean Huk seems to have actually practiced this build and refined it somewhat pretty crazy how his timings were like perfect got 400/400 right when he got 100 energy on the nexus great foreplanning with the mass recall.
So the lesson is: Mothership wat? Will we see more?
... im definately the one who pioneered mid-game cannon rushing, and then huk i guess watches my replays and does the same with a recalled probe? FFFFUUUU... anyways lol, looks fun to try.
Well I am going to try this in random PvT games till it works for me lol. Just one win with a mothership rush will be enough to make me happy even if the player is bad..
Just did it in ladder and won. Sure I suck (I'm nowhere near great nor was my opponent) but it worked! This was PvP too. I'm totally doing this in every match-up now, it's too much fun!
Edit: MASSIVE BRAINWAVE. Instead of pumping out nonstop gateway units, I'm going to start getting Void Rays in the mix. Have them charge up on my Nexus (not 10 of them like Huk or I'll lose) and recall them in with the gateway mix at full charge.
Edit 2: Now I'm really glad we have Motherships instead of Arbiters. Imagine having more than one of those capable or recalling Void Rays or Immortals to raze a base. And keep an extra at home to recall you back if you need it.

OTHER MASSIVE BRAINWAVE
Is it possible to get 2 recalls on 2 different motherships and recall to enemy main base and recall back home. Just jumping from spot to spot recalling
Here's HuK's first mothership rush on Desert Oasis that I casted earlier.
Raelcun doesn't explain it that well but before the game I jokingly said 'hey, mothership rush him!' and HuK laughed and I didn't think he would do it................ but he did.

NERDgasm
Limit of 1 Mothership. Otherwise that would be totally imbalanced. I still find the Mothership to be a far better defensive unit than an offensive one, but this rush is too great!
lol i did that build already in the beta MS FTW vs passive terrans, but its kinda vulnerable against a agro terran who timing attacks first and then expands, anyway its not a very strong build on SoW
dammit, i hate when people use the mothership successfully. Why? because i want it to be taken out of the game and replaced by a different flying caster like the arbiter. But if it keeps being used like this then there's little chance of that happening

NEXUS ANIMATION IS THE SAME FOR PROBES AND MOTHERSHIP ON MEDIUM SETTINGS
kthx this is like the fourth time i've heard "he scanned it!,'' and people wondering why the terran doesn't react.
Completely wrong, I'll post a video if I have to but theres a HUGE difference on every setting except LOW, if you're going to yell at me in caps get it right. kthxbye

It think it's more likely he just missed it because he didn't expect it was coming. Or he expected it and thought he count counter it with what he had. I saw Trump earlier today scout with a hellion when a zerg had gone fast lair, but Trump saw it as a hatchery and lost to mutas. It happens that players just don't notice quite obvious things.
What a baller :D Not to mention his commentaries ingame, this replay really deserves a place in any SC2 hall of fame for the reason that this really happened ^^
This isn't the first time its been done. I can't remember who it was playing Artosis but he lost to it as well. But without a doubt the mid game was amazing with the sentry force fields on the ramp as well as recalling a probe for pylon and the forge to be bm haha

I don't think it would be TOTALLY imbalanced. I mean in SC1 BW you could recall arbiters but then again the recall radius was smaller. But then again it wasn't game breaking. Funny comments from huk though ahah made my day (:

Would not be imba at all, Brood War had Arbiters and they weren't limited to one. They could even nerf the health and stuff a bit, but I really think P should be able to make more than one, at 400/400 it's not like anyone can mass them too much, and even if they did Motherships in their current state are really easy to deal with.

If you're gonna keep idra's typo, you gotta keep HuK's typo.
Since nobody else seemed to notice: he misspelled suspicious.
I used to dislike HuKs play (getting caught in the "LOLOL ONLY 4GATE", after actually seeing more of his games I seem to enjoy his attitude more than anyone's. Not a lot of folks could pull this off, too awesome.
lol just tried this rush strat in 2v2, both me and my parter were able to mass up big ground armies and i tried to mass recall our combined armies into their base (after all it is MASS recall right? wrong... mass recall only works on your own units *sniff*.
Oh man, my respect for huk just increased by 300% after seeing his second MS rush in a tournement. That lame ass arbiter in action is always worth watching.
