Especially, since gomtv has that 85k top prize going on at the same time -_- MLG really needs to up the ante on prize money or the big names will never play here.
Another scenario, say a good player does rise through playing mlg. He will just be lost when he realizes he can make 10x as much in tournaments across the sea. Yeah, the prize money isn't spectacular enough to really attract european or asian players over. I won't say international, cause well, Canadian players could attend.
It needs to grow. Btw, European Halo teams have never got in the Top 8 but are still attending. Sponsors are great to have

Is a stream confirmed?

They will be streaming the event. They stream each game on their circuit, excluding the EA games I believe. Plus, since they are Blizzards Offical NA partner, theirs no reason they won't be able to stream.

Come on people, this is basically the chance for any Diamond players to attend MLG's first live StarCraft 2 event, not to mention a shot at the $7,000 prize pool. I'd expect the number of PMs to cause JP's inbox to explode, but I see he still needs more folks. Get on this before it's too late.
