Then when he ignores me, I think 'Man why is everyone so stupid?' That'd be crazy, right? Right. Difference here is that if he REALLY didn't want to hear me, he could have blocked me. It's super easy -- like two mouse clicks. If some guy IRL doesn't want to talk to me, he can't click a couple times and mute me. Post more bad logic please.

This is dumb. If there's money or legitimate notoriety on the line, I can see your point. But ladder? LOL please child.

In SC2's case, manner is probably one of the smaller problems when it comes to making esports popularity grow. Considering I work for a major sports network that could potentially help out the e-sports scene, I guarantee you I am more qualified to speak on this matter than you.

No-one gives a damn, you clearly baited and incited the guy after he asked you to not speak to him. Don't be a jackass next time?

He clearly told you he didn't want to talk to you, and instead you go on acting like a dick. His logic makes perfect sense, you just need to learn how to respect others.

Well I sure has hell don't want you representing the Star2 community, I don't care if you're the main investor for ESPN, people like you ruin any hope SC2 has for being broadcast on TV. This thread on the other hand is just a place for us nerds to vent our anger, not a place for you to flaunt your unspecified achievements in life and post how you enjoy trolling your opponents.

I'm 3v3 RTing and hit an arranged team on Arakan, one of my teammates is a friend in diamond, other guy on our team is some platinum guy, not very good. Zerg player on the other starts getting fed gas from his teammates for mutas, I have mutas faster and we're ready to defend against his mass muta along with his team's lings/marines, he proceeds to calling us "fucking ladder abusers," "you lose on purpose to bash on newbs," "fuck you faggots." I tell him we're an RT and to check our stats so he replies "tell someone who cares," I reply "obviously you do since you're crying about it," then he stops talking and won't leave until we starve them out and crush them over and over, but before he leaves he says "fucken abusing hackers," and finally leaves. I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. I have a 66% win rate and was getting accused of purposely losing to abuse mmr lol. I wish I had saved the replay.

Really? You're going to admit that you don't understand his point and follow the admittance of ignorance by calling him the dumbest thing you've ever seen? That is awesome. Anyway, if you have the vaguest idea of how human beings work, you can see the emotional distinction between instant and twenty minutes later. I shouldn't have to explain the difference to you because you are either a human that understands or a troll that doesn't care. Okay, "social moors and graces" once told Americans that African Americans were objects to be bought and sold. See the errors of your ways yet? (BTW, it's social MORES. You shouldn't have skipped college.) So you're logic is that you are hundreds of years ahead of the current civilization? And you aren't smug? And you're using unwarranted ad hominem? Seriously? The only way that retort is vaguely coherent is if you're a baller troll. The ladder will be erased soon. Therefore, the current ladder is meaningless to all except the top-200 or so who will receive tangible rewards such as promotion and invitations to clans and tournaments. Again, facts. You are aware that you are not capable of determining meaning, correct? Meaning is entirely a perception and you simply view a lack of material reward as being meaningless. You're attempting to impose your own meanings onto others, which is absurd. I want to call you stupid for this, trolling or not, because an intelligent person wouldn't make such a dumb claim and a good troll would never make the mistake of saying something like that. LOL, totally smug. Just because you proclaim yourself to be right doesn't make you right. And I'm the smug one? LMAO The irony is unbearable. If trollgasms were existing and meaningful things, this line would induce them. ___________________________________________________________________________ Being anti-social FTMFL. Ad hominem. Next! I see thread after thread on here about e-sports getting big. It will never be big until nerds learn how to be social. Shit like this is why e-sports will never prosper. More ad hominem and unbased claims. If you can't talk to people because you are so mad after losing one meaningless game on the ladder, I facepalm at the current state of the human race. If you can't comprehend the idea of someone who is competing at something losing to a stupid mistake getting flustered, I pity you. More than that, the entire idea of what you said is based on the presumptions that everyone should share your own definition of meaning and that you know nothing bad has recently happened in that player's life. Debates don't presume rampantly like that, but bad trolls do. There are some stupid people on this forum. inorite? _______________________________________________________________________________ Difference here is that if he REALLY didn't want to hear me, he could have blocked me. It's super easy -- like two mouse clicks. If some guy IRL doesn't want to talk to me, he can't click a couple times and mute me. Wait? So because he asked you, more or less kindly, to not message him again, he wanted you to message him some more? Since he didn't do the absolute most he could to stop you from talking to him, he clearly wanted to talk? Trolololol. Post more bad logic please. Man, I wish I could just stop loving you...

I'm not trying to score points, I just enjoy dismantling people that I think deserve dismantling. Anyway, I'll apologize for somewhat aiding in the derailing of this thread. I actually started that post before the rerailing posts and didn't bother to refresh the thread and see if the thread had actually been fixed. So, I'll probably just ignore any further discussion on the matter of... that guy I quoted. Again, sorry about that. Also, for future reference, I'd recommend saying "and don't try to inflate your egos by posting dialogues." It's much closer to the truth for egotistical tools like me.

"Nerds that play Starcraft and post on Team liquid have no social skills." Ummm, you play Starcraft and post on Team Liquid? Lol. And anyway, just because we share that in common, doesn't mean we share everything in common, such as your lack of social skills. Derp. You have that job that could make esports grow? Well, I fly to the moon every weekend with my astronaut buddies. See how posting shit like that is pointless, true or not? This guy isn't off topic. It's actually pretty funny how bad he has raged at everyone. If you're a troll, kudos man, successful troll is successful. If not, I facepalm at the human race too.
