 Being in that division would be super cool with all the werra guys. I am guessing a lot of the people in the top of that ladder though would have moved on to euro/asia servers now that they are up. Idras record is outrageous, but I wonder if we will ever see people go 100-0 like qazzi in war3. | ||

Seems like Tester (oGssSKS) has switched to Terran by the way, he used to play protoss. It's possible its someone else playing on his account but switching races wouldn't be too unbelievable seeing as terran is kinda considered to be the strongest race right now. Would love to see some more screenshots of these ladders. edit: Anyone know the identifier of anyone in that division so it's possible to track how the rankings evolve? | ||

I have seen this division tho (Last I saw TTOne was #1 and IdrA was 34-7 or something like that... (my buddy Dlovan is in it, who's also pretty beasty!) I'm pretty sure they're all real... I mean you don't see too many people with ~75% win rate after like ~20 games! lol | ||

And .. looking at some of the other diamond divs, none appear to be as stacked as this one, there are alot more known names in there than the ones listed in the OP and if thats the real tester... well i believe it, i got crushed harder than i have been since beta opened playing against him | ||

Just checked no. 1 today is a Zerg player named "Billy." I don't know anyone really in the top 10 in my div cept for stalife. Still the ratio of the top 12 is 5T/4P/3Z so my rant on T may continue! | ||

Like I said, it was the 1st or 2nd diamond division created, so everyone who was top on the first 2 days, had a strong chance to go into this division. I've been playing lots for the first 3 days of this patch also, and ive played Gerrard and Tester, I believe they were real cause they were insane, along with being #2 in platinum behind IdrA who was 20-0 at #1 before being moved into Diamond so im sure it is him too | ||

I mean when you're copper it's nice to only have to climb 30 people, but i think you should have to climb like 75 ppl in sliver 200 in gold then like 500-1000 in plat to be top. Else the ambiguity in how many leagues there are in plat makes it less rewarding to a player such as one that would visit teamliquid and be platinum ranking. | ||

White-Ra is my favorite SC2 player, but those showmanship matches between him and TLO a few days ago casted by Husky made me cry - he lost so many void-rays in very stupid ways. To his credit though, I have to believe the latency was insane playing from europe routing thru US servers. He even said he couldn't control his army at the very end. | ||

I'm sure some numbers/positions have changed since the last one... lol It's natural that all of the pros are in the same division... they all RAPED as soon as beta was released so they all placed diamond extremely fast. Then other players came and other diamond divisions formed... big deal! @.Soul, They probably haven't laddered vs each other at all!!! You don't get to ladder vs your own division that often. I only laddered against someone in my division like once in last phase! | ||

How I would improve the ladder system: Besides the already discussed idea of making it so you can compare your self with people in other divisions I would also make it so that the ladders reset the same way iCCup resets with the start of a new season. Instead making players play placement matches players would start in the same level league they finished in perviously (i.e. finish in gold) start in gold next season. It would be great if you could look at another players (or your own) profile and look at how you did in other seasons, this could be used to show improvement. I would also implement a level above Diamond league, this league for the sake of this example will be called "Kings League" (KL). The only way to reach the KL would be by finishing the previous season in first, second or third place of a Diamond league, this league would be much smaller then the other leagues and would be only the top players across all servers. To keep this league small and to insure that it stay competitive at the end of each season the bottom players would be dropped back down to Diamond (clearly I don't have the stats to do the math but you can imagine that if 100 players moved up each season 100 bottom players would be moved back down.) | ||

I only laddered against someone in my division like once in last phase! actually we all play vs each other quite often if on at the same time since there aren't many others who have same range of "elo" or w/e u want to call it | ||

It seems like those matches would be the most useful, but I imagine there is a reluctance to show your hand to potential competitors. | ||
