If they fuck up SC2 through BNET (sc2 is awesome stand alone) I will probably cancel my 5 year wow account and just move on from being a Blizzard fanboy. Just being honest I'm not 'threatening" blizzard, I am almost 30 years old and watching this company go to shit since activision merger is sad ;( Not to mention treat all their customers like children now.. This trend is really making me worry for Diablo 3. I have been looking forward to D3 for over half a decade (much like w/ SC2), and seeing just how much Blizzard is dropping the ball and intentionally fucking up (like trying to kill KeSPA so that SC2 won't have competition in Korea) makes me fear for what they might just have in store for D3.

Like I said originally, I really feel that we should get set up, but just threaten at first. A polite thread on B.net SC2 Feedback forum would do the trick. Simply stating our case. There's no reason to actually go ahead with it unless we have to. Already posted one, and.... deleted.

Yes (6508) No (1331) 7839 total votes Your vote: Would you give SC2 a one star amazon rating to protest BNET? I like this idea, but not until after release since we need to give them time to improve. Stuff like this actually works too, as I remember when someone went on Fox news slandering Mass Effect and saying a bunch of false information about it, her books were all rated 1 star on Amazon, and it got to the point where she publicly apologized and admitted she actually never even knew anything about the game at all and was just put on Fox and told to say bad stuff about it.

I ain't big on knowing everyone from TL, but like on iCCup... I would want a game, but instead of just finding random ladder game, I would hit the training channel and try to find someone low skill first... so I had fun. This shouldn't be as much an issue with the new systems, but I did frequent games with some people.... I'm sure I can go 'Hey! Good game, wanna be friends?' and all... but it isn't the same. Just seems pants-on-head-retarded to not add chatrooms. Hell even for the whole 'Bnet across all games' thing, chatrooms would be awesome. Maybe I wanna play WoW and talk SC2 while I grind. =\ Like the game, dislike that decision.

Well to my knowledge we can't vote until July 27th anyways. Someone will need to repost this a day or two before to remind the community

Always thought blizzard was kinda cool, 'cause they developed the games i loved, but the tone of this inteview is so ..... blah i don't know. for me as someone who works in the service industry and has direct customer contact i just can't understand how blizzard thinks such an interview would male them look cool or whatever. i think i'm just really really disappointed in blizzard Yeah, I seriously wonder what the purpose of this interview was from Blizzards pov. Other than to piss people off that is...

Pretty much Blizzard saying HA, us players are too small to affect what they are doing. Blizzard, we are not taking this well. In history, the angriest mobs are the most dangerous. Even if we represent a small faction.

We all see the play time expiration counter in the UI. Can we really continue to ignore that?
