Toss doesn't need buffs? But yeah... The Carrier is never seem which is sad because it's an iconic unit. I'm impressed they didn't nerf the Void Ray(which does the role of the Carrier and much more btw) or buffed Zerg t1 anti-air, if they don't want to send hydras back to t1 and nerf them at least buff the queens AA. or the spores.

The changes to thors make them substantially less useful as a harass / map control unit, and their reduced initial damage makes them just another attack-move unit instead of something you'd actually want to control. And the infestor change was just dumb, having it be 100 mana and require research way more than counteracts its ability to use it on air. If blizzard wanted to make ultras more useful, then buff ultras and make them more useful, not nerf two other units and make them worse against the ~33 other unit vs unit matchups. This guys knows what hes saying. ESPICALLY when we heard NoNy (i think it was him) talk about how its better to make a game by buffing other units to compete with the good units then nerf them all. It makes a more interesting game to have powerful units instead of a bunch a pussies.

There was an interview a while back when they specifically said they like to to spells and whatnot overpowered in the beginning and then scale it back. Different kinds of games and teams, but still they mindset might be there.

because ultralisks are near godly now like they used to be, They got a 50% damage boost. So in zvz people are most definately going to use them now, and people are most definately going to mind control them. Now they just need to make thors and ultralisks smaller, maybe shrink the mothership a little too...

Infesters as a counter to voids is a joke. Voids are scariest long before infesters ever show up. Early game AA for zerg just needs some legitimizing. I do like that infesters can target air as an overall change, it's just not going to help against early voids.

although I still think zerg SHOULD be redesigned and could be a lot cooler, I think realistically they just need a few more changes to be "good enough" till expansions. really they just need to make the mothership less stupid, replace infested terrans with ANYTHING, make ultras/lings less shitty, and I think I'll be happy with it until a year from now when i realize the gameplay as a whole is too shallow to replace brood war ![]()

If I read this correctly, they plan on adding an ability to the Overseer, redesign the ultralisk (Ability? Charge?) AND experiment a bit with the 3rd ability of the infestor. This patch they changed the ability of the corrupter.

THE thing i would like them to check is the Nexus/CC low hp, specially against mara/immo. Also why so much love for Ultra and none at all for Carriers? ![]()

The problem with Broodlords wasn't that they are hard to kill, but these fucking broodlings. But atleast something, right? Phoenix moving shot... hmm. Dunno but Vikings sucks against Protoss air, so unless I double them with some ground support, I'm loosing all mobility against protoss. Too bad ghosts can't fly. From a terran standpoint this patch is a slight nerf, 10hp for tanks isn't important, BC build time... well.
