UPDATE:
GAME in Sweden also have a similar offer right now. So far, no stores seams the have any keys in stock, but the onlien store should have, I'll try to get a hold of them and come back with more info! (Thanks to OneBk for the find)
UPDATE again:
Talked to custmer service. They don't have any keys yet. Delivery date isn't final, but they asume tomorow for the online store, and thursday for the local stores. They also said that they will try to send e-mails to everyone that pre-order in the online store as soon as they get them to the head office.

This is my very first thread on TL, so hopefully this is a good contripution to the site. If you are curious about who I am, I posted this in the 10 commandments thread: + Show Spoiler +Hi TL and friends!
The ten commandments are read, and hopefully remembered And as such I'm making my first ever post in this thread as declared.
A Little about me then. 27 year old guy from Sweden with the normal work/school/girlfriend/family/friends/workout kind of live. I have always loved games, especially RTS, RPG and Fighting games.
I played SC:BW around my 18-21 years a lot over LAN with my roommates at collage, I think it was right about the time the last couple of balance patches came out, and we learned that making a ton of workers rocked by watching replays of Hasudrone, and the strongest player among us kept reading Zerg guides by Yellow (player names could be of, long time ago you know, who was FerenzTheFox?). Probably none of us was very good, but we had a lot of fun!
Ever since SC2 was announced I've been exited, ans so has some of my buddys that remember the good old days. The last couple of weeks my interest really sored and I finally maned up and got the courage to sign up to this wonderful site.
I knew TL from my past SC days but never really got into the site or the community like I have now. I've been lurking, reading a lot of the SC2 discussion threads, watching beta streams and VODs and now after the TLI (Yeah! Go TheLittelOne for being plain entertaining and awesome! Go White-Ra for winning and being so good with me beloved Toss!) I even started catching up and the Day[9] Dailys. And so far, I'm having a great time!
So thanks for having me, hopefully I'll live up to this community, and I have some post, questions and discussions toughed up to start of my TL career while I work and my abysmal SC:BW skills in wait for SC2 beta or release.

P.S. I don't want to use this as a excuse, but I'm dyslectic so sometimes my spelling will sadly be terrible, and whenever I can I will try to use a spelling program as support. D.S.
I did some research today about the GameStop "pre-order and get a beta key" offer that has been posted about the last days. This is what I found out:
- Beta keys will be available for pre-order customers in Sweden!
- They don't have any keys right now, but the internal word to employs is that they will most likely be shipped to the local stores next week
- The offer is legit for both normal and collector editions pre-orders (even tough GameStop in Sweden is careful about CE pre-orders, they never now how many they actually get)
- You can only pre-order "on site" at a local store
- They take a small fee (20SEK for me), you can pre-order without a credit card, and the fee works like a deposit, you get it included in the full game price when it's relesed, so their is no extra cost at all
- The beta keys will be handed out at the stores when they arrive (hard copy keys)
- They will try to call all customers that pre-order when the keys arrive, if they have the time (which they won't if they get a lot of pre-orders)
- They do not know if the offer is limited or not
How I found this out:
I was really wondering about this GameStop thing that their was so much discussion about, so I decided to do some research. The GameStop homepage in Sweden dose only have information about that SCII is available for pre-order, but no information about any beta keys. So I actually called my local store, explained what I knew about the North American offer, and asked if they had any information. After talking with the store manager I found out the information above.
I also called one more store in a different region to see if they could confirm, and I got the same exact answers, so I feel pretty sure that this is legit.
Of course I ran straight to my local store and pre-order, and got the same information in the store that I got over the phone.
I also must praise my local store in Örebro for great service! Not only did the research the subject for me and confirmed that the offer of beta keys will be active, they also promised to call me on Tuesday with more information. They where absolutely certain that they will have beta keys, the information is communicated internally, they just don't have a delivery date, even tough they expect next week.
I'm really thank full and impressed with the customer service, and I also now, that if this turns out to be a botch, it's not the guys at my local stores fault  I've worked as a reseller myself, sometime information, and promises, change real quick in big organisations.
I'll update this thread when I get more information, hopefully I'll have a key next week!

I also urge all Europeans to call the stores in your country! They couldn't say with any certainty, but this seams to be a centralised offer that will go out in most places real soon.

Update to clarify my information about Collectors Edition:
I actually weren't allowed to pre-order the CE in my local store in Örebro. They said this was because they didn't want to promise something that they couldn't keep and that they never really know how many CE they get for each store. So I just pre-ordered the normal game and the CE will most likely be handed out on a "first served" basis. I didn't ask if this meant that pre-order customers had first pick on these CE or not.
On the other hand, when I talked to Eskilstuna on the phone during me research, they said it was possible the pre-order the CE. So maybe it's different polices in different stores. So make sure to ask if you pre-order. .
April 27 Update:Added info about no credit card requierment, and that the booking fee counts towards the full retail price. Also info about simillar offer from GAMEAnd now also http://webhallen.se

I already emailed a Dutch site (gcshop.nl) but they didn't had anything going on, they told me though that they would let me know if they did.
maybe bol.com (dutch too) has something going on, but i didnt email them yet. they are like one of the biggest and well known dutch online shop for years now. They even sell the starcraft books :D

Since there was that other topic where a danish online store was supposedly getting keys mid next week, I'd be surprised if this was Sweden only

It seems they are preparing for europe to finally step in into beta, lets hope they will get beta keys for UK and other european countries as well. Keep us informed if u hear any other countries joining in with preorder

In germany pretty much every store or online store has a june release in their data, don't think thats really reliable though.

Maybe I should post an update about the CE.
At my local store (Örebro) they didn't alowe me to actually pre-order a CE. The reason for this is that they never actually know how many they get per store, and they don't want to make promises they can't keep. So if you prebook the game, and want a CE they hand them out on a "first served" basis. If I understand them correctly.
On the other hand, when I talked to the store in Eskilstuna on the phone, they said I could pre-order a CE edition, so maybe it's different polices in different stores

Actully, the information I got from two stores where that when you pre-order they have to take a small fee (5SEK) minumun, but it's up to the store how big. Then when you go to collect the full game you pay full price minus the fee for the pre-order. So the initial fee is just a deposit and in the nd you just pay full price.

Called and asked gamestop in göteborg and they said the same thing, you'll get access to the beta and they hope to have the keys on friday.
Also they said that you'd have to call and check with them if the beta keys have come, so Göteborg gamestop wont call you

I just asked the gamestop in kungsbacka, and they said " i don´t know if we will have it in sweden at all". but the one in gothenburg said we got a mail about it and it will come. so maybe its only some of the stores or maybe the guys in kungsbacka are realy bad at checking their mail.

The gamestop at stockholm, mölnvik said that they get betakeys depending on how many preorders there are. So maybe the store at kungsbacka havent got that many preorders. Anyway, gamestop mölnvik told me they should get the keys this week.

yes you can!
you just have to make a small deposit when you preoder- 20-50kr i think. the frist 50kr you paid will inclued in the game price, so when the release hit the store you have to paid the rest. (this is becuse so you jsut dont pre-oder and then doesn't buy the game in the end. tho compared to ebay cost for the keys this is way more worth it even if you end up not buying the game.)

I called the two stores in Örebro, neither had any beta keys in store. Both thought it was just availble trough the online store, and when I said that it says on the homepage that they should have it in store to, they hadn't goten any information, or keys, yet. I'll call the custmer service as soons as their lunchbreak is over.

www.game.se says that you can preorder in the store aswell and get it, just called every store in Gothenburg and they said they dont have it yet.

Visited GameStop in Gothenburg today, same thing there. They do not know when the keys will arrive but they will call those who preordered as soon as they get the keys.

So basically no one has anything yet.. GAME just tries to steal some customers pretending that they already have them. In the end I bet all stores get them at the same time and you can just pre-order from the same place you usually do...

i got a mail for some minutes ago from game. that the keys would be sent out 24h after a request. but i am not relaying on that info.
Edit: I got a mail from game.se that i should come again if i didnt get a key within 24h so we have to see...

i went to my store and talked to them , they didnt have the key yet i signed up on some list and they would call when they got the keys and then call again when they got the game which is estimated in the summer...
edit: now i have 3 pre ordered SC2... one at Discshop , one at Webbhallen and one at Game lol

There was a 50SEK fee at GameStop but I think its reasonable as long as the keys dont get too delayed.

I talked to Game in Uppsala today, and they replied with the info they'd been given in their mail. Beta keys will probably arrive tomorrow Wednesday, and everyone that has preordered could pop by the store and get their key if they've gotten them.

It's 24h from when you placed your order and depending on when you did something has either gone wrong(if it was more than 24hrs ago) or you just need to wait some more.

It should be rather easy to get one from Webhallen with all fake info. You don't need to verify anything on any of the steps required to get the beta-key, so just create a fake account on their site and link it to a fake email and preorder the game. Just choose to fetch it at the store and wait for the key to pop up in your mail (I ordered late in the evening and got mine the morning next day) and then cancel the order. No money paid, and you got a beta-key : )
