This one is your fault. go pre-order SC2 and get a beta key like me.

My updater just closed after doing the infinite loop for a while. Vista said it wasn't working.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Ted, it seems there is most likely a problem with your game files. Where are you installing it from? Where did you download the SCII game files? Almost seems like your download didn't finish properly...

After the infinite loop garbage, I uninstalled and tried reinstalling and this is happening to me too. SIGHHHHHH

And BTW, they told you not to reinstall the game.

I am in beta. And your not paying for beta. People shouldn't be upset over something they get to play for free.

Come on, read the previous postings. Read my post on page 14. The patcher will eventually crash because it is not working. This is normal.

That's not the POINT. They have quality control department that's their job to test and make sure shit gets released without much problem. They gonna run into same problem when retail version comes out, when it tries to update to new patches, and end up in the infinite loop again.

Beta is beta I know that, but the quality control department isn't doing its job. In my company, they'll get warned and next time fired.

By that logic people who didn't vote shouldn't complain about the politicians in office, but yet this happens all the time

you dont understand. its doing that cause THE SERVERS ARENT UP. during beta you expect these kinds of major overhauls. especially when the beta goes more openly public. would you prefer a quick patch and constant crash cause the bnet isnt ready for the large influx of players?

Where are you reinstalling from? A file downloaded from your battle.net account???

In any case, just sit tight and don't do anything more. This patch #9, the faulty one, likely got pushed into the battle.net account management download so that's why it's not working.

Stupidist comment I have read in this thread. We are BETA TESTERS. This is what happens in any BETA TESTING PHASE.

Blizzard doesn't owe us anything in this phase as we are not paying customers.

Just said in my post above before I saw this, it is most likely because the faulty patch has been pushed into the game files you can download from online, so your copy is therefore not working.

Just wait for them to fix it and it should all be good.

this post was a joke, right? we're beta testing, they are testing before releasing stuff. this is their test and this is their job. the game hasn't come out yet in case you haven't noticed

Plus, this is BLIZZARD, ffs. A reputable company with great history. I bought all their games and shit many times. Some how as a company gets bigger and bigger, their quality goes down.
