Theres nothing left to discuss in this thread we just have to wait for them to fix it so why not throw in a joke? I got a laugh out of it but obviously your way too uptight because your betaless right now. Whoa, people are expected to be kind on TL now? I guess I can start posting again!

1. OMGZ DOWNLOAD??? Yes, the download took freaking forever. Just let it download. Stop asking questions. 2. WAHHH INFINITE LOOP??? Yes, we are all getting an error where after it is done downloading, the patcher seems to be stuck in a loop. Blizzard has responded here, telling us to hold tight. 3. DO I NEED TO REINSTALL??? No. This will not solve anything. 4. DO I HAZ PATCH??? You can tell if you have it by navigating to Starcraft II Beta > Versions > you should be looking for a folder called "Base15097." If it is there, then you have the patch. If it's not there, you don't have the patch. Simple as that. 5. MY GAME WORKS!!! Even IF you were to get the game started, it wouldn't matter because Blizzard took Battle.net offline to do some upgrades. Again, sit tight and just WAIT for their response. /passiveaggressive ![]()

How is this in any way an acceptable way to post on this site? This is bald-faced spam.

Blizzard Updater was unable to read the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II Beta\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod\Base.SC2Assets". This error may be caused by problems with the media or drive at C:\--for example, a scratched or dirty CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, hard drive corruption, or a networking problem while downloading the update. (The data being read was "Assets\Sounds\Uni\Ambience\Tilesets\Ambience_Redstone.ogg", and the error code was 0.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. Logically after loading it crashes to desktop.Any1 else experiencing similar problem? Follow these steps. 1. Stop trying to play the game. It's not working for anyone right now, Blizzard is working on it by resetting the Battle.net servers and databases, 2. When Blizzard finishes fixing everything, your patcher should resume normally. Just give it some time. 3. ??? 4. PROFIT!!!

It is such as waste of bandwidth and time to uninstall and reinstall. WTF is the quality control department doing? Getting paid and not doing its job. How can you get so upset? 1. It is a beta, there will be problems. 2. You are playing the beta for free. Stop complaining.

(Converter::Load) Ted, it seems there is most likely a problem with your game files. Where are you installing it from? Where did you download the SCII game files? Almost seems like your download didn't finish properly...
