Only one of the 50+ people still alive has opted out after the first inactivity purge, and most users seem pretty resolute in not changing their minds. It doesn't look good, seems like nobody on the list will be getting keys barring everyone forgetting about the final two hour rule.

No prob, i simply didn't understand that, but i guess they say those things just to get a key :D Kind of psychological battle =)

Don't expect many europans to opt out when deadline comes, it will be 5am here :D, so if they don't care, they just may get the key :D

Jealous? Of what? Having a computer that needs to be tricked into running SC2? -.-"

Wrong. I opted out several dozen pages ago, so I have nothing to gain by making people opt out.. 3FFA just irritates me with his irrational persistence and greed.

I'm predicting no more than 30 or so people will post in the two hours. I don't know how many keys you have in stock, but I would agree that it doesn't look good for the people still holding on.

So far, only people posting here are me and 3ffa + from time to time someone else... sO yeah, i also doubt that more than 10 ppl more will opt out before deadline... I can even make the bet that the number isn't going to fall below 40 till 5am, and won't fall below 30 at all.

Wow at this rate all this self nominators are going to get keys, horrible.
From what I've heard there's 40 keys allocated to this, so it shouldn't be a hard number to reach, considering there's 50 something people left =/

Ugh. 40 is very achievable once all the Euro guys get eliminated for sleeping when they should be posting. Even though I opted out a loooong time ago, I find myself wishing that people will hold on and nobody will get the keys, especially seeing the character of the people who have stayed. >:[

I agree it doesn't look good for us who are still in. To be honest, as much as I want a key, one of the main reasons i'm still opted in is just so that all these guys with 1 post don't get the key. I counted at least 35 people in the list have less than 50 posts. I'd rather the number of people names in the list be higher than the keys we have just so those people don't get them.
I don't even know if that makes sense.

Question: If no one gets the keys, will they be a contest or something else that will happen?

It does make sense. There was this other guy a few pages back who was staying in for a similar reason. He was gambling that, should nobody in this thread get a key, HB would just give them to someone else at some later point in time, possibly at his own discression, but definately to someone more deserving than the people here.

Nobody (here) gets any, and I assume someone will think of some other way to get rid of them.

They should just allocate more keys to the dudes that were actually nominated by someone other then themselves, that way we focus more on the positives instead of the negatives that's running rampant in this thread.
|
Looks like we've finally hit the unshakeable 54 who will remain in this thread till the end of time if it'll give them a key. All I have to say to everyone is
Good luck!

I am on the list and have less than 50 posts, but I actually put something out there that contributed to TSL/SC2. I agree that people with low post counts that only posted to get a beta key should not be considered for this.
If there are actually 40 keys that would be amazing, but it feels more like the mind games are continuing...
