Let's pretend there are 20 beta keys (because that's what Hot_Bid has been using for his hypothetical situations). 2 hours before deadline rolls by and 21 people have confirmed that they are remaining in this competition. At that point, it's only a matter of time until the whole thing goes to waste. Now obviously they would not be aware of how many keys there actually are, but 2 hours is plenty of time to think things over and change your mind. (They may have stayed in for this long, but hey, you never know. They might change their thinking in the last few moments). So if someone wished to opt-out after confirming that they are staying in the last two hours, would they be allowed to do so? Or is it set in stone after it hits that mark? Obviously they wouldn't know how many keys there were or anything, but it's just something I was wondering. | ||
