Someone asked, "Why have you abandoned the OP of this thread..." That's a great example of the kind of thing that we don't currently have a grasp on. So take that small little detail, and multiply it by 100 and that's kinda the state of where I'm at right now with organization. This hiatus should not only help with that structure, but allow me to go forward in a way that won't put the shows in danger from getting burnt out, etc. Additionally, there are some IRL stuff (as Wack mentioned) that my wife and I have put on hold for quite sometime and they absolutely have to get done. I hope people can understand that right now the shows occupy nearly 85% of my freetime, and that means the shows interfere with time that my wife and I desperately need to sort some things house (house stuff, taxes, etc.). I don't have a huge system of help behind all the shows (in fact, in most cases it's just me doing the pre/post-production of everything) - and I really need to begin building something that's going to allow a more stable future (for shows AND for me). Again thanks for the support, I'm happy to answer any questions but more than anything I just hope people understand I'm doing this for good reason. EDIT: I should also add that with the LAN Season rapidly approaching, I'd rather take this break now than trying to fix things, do LAN events, and shows simultaneously. | ||
