I have what could be call a desperate plea for help in a matter that is very close to my heart and it involves one link to another website for more information that I was going to post in General until I read the posting rules. I'm not promoting myself, not posting a YouTube link, not asking for money or offering services/products, simply trying to spread awareness of this matter. Is that still deemed a bannable advertisement? | ||

bronze to gm with 4 gate only stream Shortly about: My main race is terran and im high master My friend gave me his account which is deep bronze to try 4 gate to get as far as i can get with it. On the first day ive started the run and it was for 10 hours 50 minutes no stop with score 92-3 and i got to high diamond. vod of the 1st day: http://www.twitch.tv/kinjikij/b/471229686 Second day i got to master and spent some bonus pool spending 8 hours 15 min for 4 gating winrate wasnt as impressive. vod of the 2nd day: http://www.twitch.tv/kinjikij/b/471556738 Today will be the third day im gonna spend my bonus pool and see how far in master will i get. My opinion is that i really hate whenever somebody makes an OP, of like some written thing, or interview, then gives a link, and like 1 quote and says..go to our site to read the rest. I mean, if you're gonna title your thread "INTERVIEW WITH ABCXYZ" then i fully expect there to be an interview there, not a link to another page where its at. BUT, since the ppl that do this are mostly strong contributors to the community i can see how this would be accepted by TL. | ||

I know this is an old thread, but I'm hoping that someone can answer me! For the upcoming Redbull Battlegrounds in NYC, I have an extra ticket that I want to give away to a member of the TL community via a contest. The contest will be to get someone who's never played SC2 to play a game with them, and I will draw a random name from a list of participants. I did a quick search for "giveaway" threads and most of them were closed for "advertising". Would whatI want to do be within the guidelines? I want to ask before I go ahead and do it. Also, if it IS allowed, would it fall under the "StarCraft 2" forum cateogry or something else specific? Thanks! | ||

SC2 forum maybe, but a single ticket may not be enough for its own thread. You may want to wait for a mod to tell you where to post though. :o) Also, <3 this thread, and all the people trying to advertise here.  | ||

I have returned after a long time of inactivity (though none of you know me anyways more than likely) I run a new YouTube Channel in which I upload videos of various things that I find interesting (or tutorial videos). I'll do my best to put out some vods from my stream! (www.twitch.tv/arcdawn) A bit of info on SC2/Dota2: I am currently a Platinum player due to a bit of inactivity last last season. At my best I was top Diamond/low masters level with Terran and exclusively played mech in all three matchups. Prior to SC2, I haven't played any RTS game but my friends convinced me to play Brood War during my freshman year of high school. Since then, I put in a lot of time to rise from the depths of bronze to where I am now. I play DotA 2 casually as I haven't spent as much time on DotA as on SC2. However, you are all free to message me and play some games (pm for details) Last note, I would like to get to know the teamliquid community a bit better.
